Today we’d like to introduce you to Don Mehrabi.
Hi Don, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I did a six year combined college and medical program in Northeast Ohio. Then, I went to Emory / Grady Memorial Hospital for my internship and UT Southwestern Medical Center / Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. I moved to California in 2005 and worked for Cedars Sinai Medical Group and in private practice until opening my own office in Beverly Hills in the beginning of the 2008 financial crisis. I then opened offices in Encino and Glendale in 2009. I practice medical, cosmetic, surgical, and laser dermatology. I have also completed my Mohs Surgery subspecialty certifiication. I ended up closing Beverly Hills in 2018, and focused on the other two offices.
Married in 2012, now with three beautiful children, living in Santa Monica.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Opening up in Beverly Hills and taking on significant deb right at the beginning of the 2008 financial crisis was difficult.
Of course, learning how to run a business from scratch, making all of the protocols and forms (without AI!), was very time consuming. Getting married in year 3-4 was challenging since the business was still growing.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a boutique dermatology practice specializing in all medical and cosmetic dermatology. We spend time with patients – we are not a patient mill.
Our personal touch sets us apart. I am a big believer in excellent customer service.
I am most proud of personal and family referrals.
We want readers to know that we take pride in our care and will always do what’s in the best interest of patients.

We offer online video and picture consults. We also have an online AI diagnostic tool. Also, we try to get patients in the same day or next day 95% of the time. We also have Saturday appointments.
