At the heart of Jamarius Leaphart’s work is a commitment to safety, truth, and creative liberation. Through GoldRoots ENT, he is amplifying vulnerable, boundary‑pushing stories that explore faith, sexuality, mental health, and identity—reminding people that none of us are navigating these realities alone. Alongside it, Auntie’s Blends honors the legacy of love, wisdom, and refuge passed down from his late aunt Deborah, transforming coffee into a ritual of comfort and connection. Together, these projects form a larger vision: a company rooted in love, trust, and honesty, where art doesn’t just entertain—it motivates, resonates, and activates people to show up fully as themselves.
Jamarius, 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for you — can you share what inspired you to build GoldRoots ENT and the kind of voices and stories you’re most passionate about amplifying through it?
GoldRoots ENT is a space of safety. I want to be able to inspire, motivate and activate so many people through experiencing my honest, passionate & vulnerable self. Through art. Especially in times like these, we need to be able to come together through creativity.
GoldRoots ENT is centered on pushing boundaries while creating safe, inclusive spaces — how do you balance tackling taboo topics like faith, sexuality, and mental health with building genuine community?
I allow whatever needs to come out, come out. In whatever way it has to come out. The beauty of art is that there is no wrong or right way to balance these topics. Because we all live them. Everyone has a different way of experiencing or expressing these particular subjects, but we all live these things everyday. And so I want to remind people everyday that we are all doing this thing together. Let’s explore and dominate together.
You’re also launching Auntie’s Blends, a coffee brand rooted in personal legacy — what does honoring your late aunt Deborah mean to you through this project?
Yess!! Auntie’s Blends, this is my way of giving thanks and honor to my aunt for her love, her honesty and her ability to build a safe space for me. I am also, hopefully – doing the same thing for others. I remember a little kid, and my auntie Debbie would sneak me a sip of her coffee… Between that warm sip of coffee and the love she exuded from her energy, I always felt like wherever she was, I was safe. So I want to bring that type of feeling to others. An honest, loving, safe place. She impacted so many people through her wisdom and her loving truth. I believe that we all do that in our own way… So I want to do it through my creative art and projects.
Ritual, comfort, and connection seem central to Auntie’s Blends — how do you hope people around the world will experience that sense of peace and safety through the brand?
I hope that the stories I share of my aunt and I, will bring joy and comfort to those who need it. The wisdom that was shared with me, I will share it with you all.
Looking at both GoldRoots ENT and Auntie’s Blends together, what larger vision are you building for your work and impact moving forward?
I want to build a company of love, trust and honesty through creative arts. Through stories that resonate and bring wisdom. And by art that Motivates, resonates and activates parts of you that you never thought you had.
