Meet Lian Hughes of Heal divine in Redondo beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lian Hughes.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Lian. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I discovered Tibetan Cranial when I was going through my yoga teacher training course at Ananda Sevastopol Mission in Santa Rosa California. One of the directors of the program was an apprentice of Tibetan Cranial, named Deviika Ma. She offered me a treatment and after that I was hooked. It was the jaw adjustment that inspired me as I was having jaw issues at the time. I immediately called Colorado and booked a flight the summer of 2007 to meet with Shar Lee, the lineage carrier of Tibetan Cranial. Upon meeting Shar, she felt my pulses on my wrist and informed me that I was meant to be there because I have a healing pulse. I began my three-year apprenticeship and journey into Tibetan cranial. It took three years to complete the program and when I graduated Shar again checked my pulses to see if they changed and they had! I graduated in 2010 at Mt Shambhalla mountain center at our ceremony in the only Stupa in all of the US. I had brought Tibetan Cranial to Los Angeles and I continue to be the only practitioner in all of Southern California.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I had to fly or drive to Colorado four times per year to participate in the instructional program that Shar provides there. They were fun adventures especially having to drive.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Heal divine story. Tell us more about the business.
I work on people’s skulls. The work is done on a hard table with legs on a bolted so that the sacrum is completely flat and blood and cerebral spinal fluid is able to flow unobstructed through the spine. I do cranial balancing which is likened to a head massage, gentle jaw adjustment, unique neck work and palette work. This work aligns cerebral spinal fluid and blood of the whole body and the body relaxes into alignment causing healing to take place where ever it is needed. A treatment lasts 50 minutes to an hour. To people who have extra time, I also offer an hour or less of divine light energy free of charge.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
People have benefited from my work in multiple ways. The work I do fixes problems of alignment, trauma, injury, mental, emotional disorders, infantile disorders, paralysis, pain, TMJ and much more. For example, one man came to me because he was hit in the eye socket forty years before with a baseball and hadn’t been able to shut that eye completely due to cranial damage. After four sessions he was able to shut his eye completely and after four more sessions never had to return. That was one of many successful stories.
