Check out Kenneth J. Steimle ‘s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenneth J. Steimle.

Kenneth J., we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I remember in high school being fascinated with metal bands and their tee shirt art. I found a desire to draw the image and improvise adding a few of my own marks. One could say I have never stopped making marks. It has been over twenty years now, and I still find joy in the process of making art just like I did in that high school class. A few added grey hairs on my beard, a bald head, and a couple of college degrees later, I still find joy in creating art.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
Creating art comes from a deep need to communicate. It is a process of development over time, which expresses my feelings and emotions about life. My end goal with my work is to uplift people and share human emotion. The work is about exploration into our world and the connections we make with it and to each other.
My inspiration for writing this is to get the message out there to never give up and follow your dreams no matter what anyone tells you. No matter how many doors close in front of you or how many no answers you hear! Keep trying.

The stereotype of a starving artist scares away many potentially talented artists from pursuing art – any advice or thoughts about how to deal with the financial concerns an aspiring artist might be concerned about?
Trying to support oneself as a fine artist is very difficult. Many people have to work another job to support themselves. That is pretty common, but one should still maintain good structured studio time. Working hard and putting the time in no matter what. That effort will pay off.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
A good way to support my work is to follow me on Instagram @kensteimle also get the word out through social media and other platforms.
