Inspiring Conversations with Jillian Beck-Rogers of Jillian Health & Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jillian Beck-Rogers.

Hi Jillian, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
When I first started as a Health Coach, I supported a wide range of clients struggling with health issues including emotional eating, stress, low energy, diabetes, and weight management. Many of these women were also focusing on their health as they tried to have a baby, whether naturally, through IVF, or trying again after loss. Some were just beginning to think about starting a family and wanted to feel prepared, while others had been struggling on this journey for years. That’s when I realized there was a need for deeper support during this chapter of life, and what truly moved the needle was improving their relationship with food — not only what and how they were eating, but also healing their emotional connection to food.

I was also on my own journey trying to conceive, which came with unexpected challenges and gave me a deeper understanding of what my clients were experiencing. Between my personal experience and the gaps I kept seeing in the fertility space, I decided to deepen my training as a Certified Perinatal Nutrition Expert. That reinforced just how critical it is for women to receive thoughtful, comprehensive nutrition support during this season of life, because “just take a prenatal” advice barely scratches the surface.

Today, I focus on helping women improve their fertility through research-backed nutrition and lifestyle habits so they can take back some control in a journey that often feels like it’s happening to them and boost their chances of a healthy pregnancy.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have definitely been challenges. I personally don’t know any business owner who’s had a completely smooth road! The biggest one has been figuring out the niche I wanted to focus on. It took a few years of learning from different clients and my own life experiences, and seeing what clicked and what didn’t, before I finally landed on fertility nutrition. Once I drew that line in the sand, everything began to align and felt like the work I was meant to focus on.

All of those ups and downs led me to where I am now. It’s honestly been a slower process than I anticipated when I first set out to start my business, but I don’t think I could have skipped any of those steps or taken a shortcut. There’s always something positive that can come out of even the biggest disappointments.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m a Fertility Nutrition and Wellness Coach helping women who have been trying to get pregnant improve their fertility through nutrition and lifestyle habits, so they can take back some control and increase their chances of a healthy pregnancy.

I bring both lived experience and science-based strategy into my work, blending emotional support with practical, food-first tools inside my signature 3-month program, Fueling Your Fertility. Many women are given generic advice about what they “should” be doing, but most doctors simply don’t have the time or capacity to offer in-depth nutrition and lifestyle guidance, let alone help patients integrate it into their real life. This program is designed to fill that gap, with a strong focus on implementation and habit change, not just information.

What truly sets my work apart is the level of hands-on, high-touch support. Clients receive personal check-ins from me each week, along with text or voice note access between calls, so they’re supported when challenges come up, not just during scheduled appointments. We focus on small, realistic shifts that fit into everyday routines, making changes that actually stick.

In addition to fertility-focused nutrition — such as reducing inflammation, increasing nutrient stores, supporting egg health, and improving one’s relationship with food — we also integrate lifestyle support like movement and stress management. The goal is a well-rounded, realistic approach that supports both fertility and day-to-day life.

While I’m based in Los Angeles, I coach entirely online, which allows me to work with clients across the US and internationally. What I’m most proud of is the level of personalized care each client receives. Even without meeting in person, clients tell me they feel deeply seen and supported without judgment, and many stay with me for years because of the trust and relationship we build together. Integrity in those relationships is so important to me.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t really believe anything is purely luck or left up to chance. I think we create our own luck through the choices we make every day. Meeting the right collaborator, getting invited to a speaking opportunity, or new clients coming in at just the right time is usually the ripple effect of putting yourself out there and building real connections. Even moments that might feel like bad luck can often be reframed as lessons you needed in order to grow.
