Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Amrhein.
Amber, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Coming from a family all with a sixth sense, I have been aware of the spiritual world since I was a child. My first experience was a poltergeist when I was two years old. Despite the lingering fear this brought, it certainly established the existence of energy beings at a very young age. When I was four, I saw my Guardian Angel. This, too, made a lasting impact, but one of powerful reassurance that I was protected. I quickly discovered that I had a very strong connection with the Faerie realm, and my journey into the world of the unseen officially began. I started to astral project into the solar system, I created relationships with various light beings, and I shared my stories with friends at school. Despite this wonderful excitement, my fear of the unknown never left.
When I was 16, I met my spiritual mentor. She helped me understand and hone in on my gifts, as well as rid myself of the unnecessary fear. My abilities include being able to see, hear, and feel energetic beings, have an inner sense of knowing, and connect to both people and energetic beings from an empathic state to fully experience what they have or are currently going through. My mentor gave me a platform to begin offering Oracle card readings, and I quickly transitioned to doing full psychic medium readings to people from all over the world.
As time progressed, I began exploring other avenues such as trance channeling, teaching, house cleansing, and most recently, Reiki healing. My mom, a Reiki Master herself, took me under her wing. I received my Reiki Master certifications in Usui, Karuna®, and Crystal Reiki by 2019. Since I have been developing a program to heal those suffering from anxiety and PTSD. Through Reiki, my gifts and all areas of my spiritual work have been fueled and enhanced by its powerful signature of light and love.
I am a professional dancer, so was splitting my time between these two worlds. At the onset of Covid-19 in March, I began to focus my time on my spiritual ventures, and am finally establishing my business to do this work full time!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My biggest obstacle has been controlling my gift of empathy. I was sexually abused as a child and dealt with PTSD as a result. As a teenager, a lot of lost spirits, primarily murder victims, began to come to me seeking help in passing on. Due to my empathetic nature, when they showed me their moment of death, I would experience it physically, mentally, and emotionally. This was very triggering for my PTSD, and honestly one of the biggest challenges I have had to overcome. Through experience, I have learned that even the most terrible people in this world have a hurting inner child hiding in them. By approaching everyone (both physical and energetic) with love and compassion, even the darkest of beings can find their inner light. This realization has made a profound impact on my work and in healing my trauma. Additionally, I have always been very sensitive to how others are feeling. Growing up, if I tried to comfort someone that was upset, I feel like I would end up feeling their emotion stronger than they were, haha! This was very draining and would take an enormous toll on me. I had to learn the hard way to set healthy boundaries and take time for myself, but the journey to controlling my empathy has been so impactful!
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am a Psychic Medium and Reiki Master in Usui, Karuna®, and Crystal Reiki. I offer Psychic Medium readings, which basically cover anything from connecting with extraterrestrials, spirit guides, angels, loved ones who have passed, and other various light beings to gaining insight on future and current endeavors in all areas (work, love, family, personal life, etc.). I can also read past lives. This can be very beneficial in understanding the lessons to learned in this lifetime or breaking from any negative recurring patterns.
Regarding Reiki healings, I offer sessions remotely and in person, though I haven’t yet reinstated the in-person option just yet due to COVID. The main purpose of Reiki is to promote mind, body, and soul wellness. It has been proven to assist in the healing and recovery of virtually any illness, disease, discomfort, or mental/emotional imbalance. It can also clear any past life or karmic issues. Distance Reiki is a specific technique that allows me to perform a healing without the client being present. Clients typically feel the same physical sensations that they would during an in-person healing, and it is just as effective.
I also offer space cleansings. This is ideal for those moving into a new space or are experiencing any dark or stagnant energies in their current space. House cleansings are one of my favorite services to do. It is through these that I have learned so much about energetic beings and how to handle those that are a bit unstable.
Due to my past dealing with trauma and PTSD, I am able to connect with people on a very personal level. I love working with people that have also gone through trauma. It is so fulfilling for me to see others heal and break away from the chains that have held them down for so long. I also love sharing my sense of wonder with others. I think it is so important to keep our inner child fueled and maintain a child-like curiosity. It makes me happy to see others begin to adopt a sense of wonder and uncover just how magical the Universe is. I have a genuine desire to use my gifts to help others in any way I can. We are all so deserving of happiness, love, and prosperity, and I try my best to open this path up to my clients.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I have always been a big stickler of listening to your intuition. If I feel like I need to leave a situation or a job, I will! It may take me a little bit of time in some cases, but I always honor my gut feeling. This has always led me to wonderful opportunities and experiences.
