When do you feel most at peace?

In a culture that often celebrates hustle and noise, peace can feel rare. Yet, peace is the ultimate prize for so many of us and so we asked folks to reflect on when they feel most at peace.

I feel most at peace when I’m pouring candles. There’s something so calming about the slow, intentional process—the warm wax, the quiet focus, and knowing that each pour carries a little bit of love and care. At the studio recording an orchestra. Those few seconds during the count off at the beginning of every music piece where you see the conductor raising the button and the string players move their bows slightly leading to the first beat of music that is created at that specific moment. Peace for me is the moment when intention and action are in complete harmony. I also find a certain calm in simply walking through the neighborhoods I grew up in.
