Rising Stars: Meet Isaac Tillman

I’m an actor and writer. My story begins on March 13, 2017, when I was 14. I started my career as an actor in an independent film called Second Semester, where I had the chance to have an improvised speaking line. However, the film was canceled shortly after so the world never got the chance to see that.

In 2017, I was featured in the ACT Like A Child Magazine Issue 20, which was released on July 21, 2017.

In 2020, I was also featured in Deore Society Special Issue, which was written by the founder, Kassidy Slaughter, who is also a great friend of mine.

In 2021, I was interviewed for Shoutout LA and this magazine here, for which I am grateful to have both opportunities to share my story.

For my film career, I have done a lot of small parts like extra roles, however, my most known performance at this time is when I was featured in the 2018 Comedy Night School alongside Kevin Hart & Tiffany Haddish where I played the poker kid. I am actively pursuing my career in film. Someday, I hope to have a role on a tv show or movie, something like dystopian fiction (like Maze Runner or Hunger Games), and the role of a superhero or some type of supernatural being.

On January 10, 2018, I released a book called Snh: Supernatural humans, the book is a limited series and is no longer being sold. But there is a new book which I released on September 13, 2021, called Winners & Lovers, a non-fiction self-help guide following me and my journey through a life experience called love.

On Jul. 19, 2019, I started out as the host of the podcast “Break Down The Walls” until the end of its run on Jul. 15, 2021. I am now the host of the podcast “What Do We Know,” which is set to air its first episode on November 10, 2021, alongside a few co-hosts, and even guests appearing at times.

Overall, I want to accomplish my dream of having a long-term career in the entertainment industry.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

No, this journey hasn’t been easy, I have had doubts plenty of times. I have failed auditions, I have failed interviews, and simply made a lot of mistakes along the way. That is part of life and we can move forward with it. I will never give up and for all of the readers reading this, you shouldn’t ever give up either.

My favorite childhood memory was when I used to live down the street from my grandmother. She used to cook daily. She would bake me a cake whenever I asked her to.

One of my other favorite childhood memories was spending time with my best friends. I enjoyed those moments very.
