Meet Aman Bassi

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aman Bassi.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started in the film and music industry in 2014. I came to LA from Vancouver, BC Canada and it just felt great here. I started of my career in LA working small film jobs which lead me to opportunities. Today I am a director, executive producer and singer/rapper and also a writer. I have received very positive feedback on my music worldwide. Also, I have received so much love from the community in LA and Vancouver.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It wasn’t smooth, there was rough times when I felt like giving up just because being a girl and also trying to do multiple things at once. But I stuck through it, took me many years but now I am glad that I didn’t give up.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
My business my art. Making films, music videos and music. If any filmmakers or musician wanna work with me reach out to me.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is getting pass the obstacles and still standing strong. Still going even when you’ve hit rough roads on the way and being able to do what you love and passionate about also being happy. Happiness is the biggest success of all, and being happy with what you do.
