The Brothers , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
What’s more important to us? Alignment. Peace. Purpose. My brother and I say energy, protecting it, guarding it, putting it where it matters. If the room, the work, and the people feed the mission, we are all in. If it drains the spirit, we are out. That’s the priority.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
Our parents, Mom and Dad. They showed up, day after day, no shortcuts, no excuses. My brother and I have the same energy, and theirs set the tone: discipline in the morning, gratitude at night. Everything we do now is built on what they instilled in us.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Patience. Humility. The quiet kind of strength. Success talks loud applause, lights, headlines. Suffering whispers: slow down, listen, build your character when nobody’s watching. It taught me to choose discipline over mood, faith over fear, gratitude over ego. Success shows you the stage. Suffering shows you the foundation. And if the foundation isn’t right, the stage won’t matter.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
As independents, the biggest lies the film industry tells itself are that you need permission to matter, that data is destiny, that diversity is a phase, that “we’ll fix it next quarter,” that box office equals value, and that you can cheat the work. The truth? Access is built, not granted. Numbers guide but don’t define impact. Representation isn’t a trend; it’s the terrain. Delay is denial. Do the right thing now. Value lives in cultural resonance, not just opening-weekend math. And preparation always shows up on screen, every frame tells on you. We move with discipline and integrity, protect our energy, and let the story speak for itself.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
When the work is honest and the room is quiet, it’s just the page, the prayer, and the purpose. Being able to tell stories that haven’t been told, or the stories that have been swept underneath the history rug, that’s peace. That’s when the noise falls away, and you feel alignment: discipline in the craft, integrity in the choices, and the sense that you’re giving voice to someone who’s been waiting to be heard.
