Hi The Contaminator, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I, The Contaminator has reincarnated onto Earth to carry out a mission to reconnect the human-consciousness back to one-ness. I couldn’t do this alone, so I sought after 4 other supernatural femmes to help me do our bidding.

After years of developing our craft, to help further our mission by telling stories and planting seeds healing the humans’ ego, we have attracted some trouble along the way…

You see, in a world ran by convenience, kings, presidents, and the dollar replacing the barter, a lot of people have been running themselves on empty. They are not allowing their tired bodies to let go and stay open, letting in the information from their astral ancestors.

But you shall not worry, I am coming out of my cocoon after years of hiding, powering my ancient valkyrie body…

I wouldn’t stray so soon…

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Since my work is more process-based and less commercial, it hasn’t been easy to make profits. I sacrificed having a car for almost a decade to be able to pay rent in L.A., make our raw art, and travel.

I am happy to say I am finally driving again in my own vehicle. I think I may have a PTSD trigger if I see another “TAP” card anytime soon.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My name is The Contaminator and I am the leader of The Contaminator Crew and the creator of the “Controlled-Dissociation” technique. We are a multimedia living art collective of five ethereal female personas that each have our own mediums, styles, and of course-personalities. Our work centers around our “world” and each piece of art whatever the medium, is an additive to our never-ending story.
Thus far, I am the most proud of our progress from over a decade of documenting our evolution. We have some pretty wild work that’s going to launch in 2027, and looking back to where we started to now is pretty humbling. All that aside, seeing the evolution of the personas, the dedication to the physical training, their conversations with each other and the quality of the videos and art itself is a constant reminder that it’s really unfair to judge our work with one piece, because we are process-based artists.

In living art we (The Crew) are the art, all the drawings, murals, video art etc. is a souvenir from the experience.

What’s set’s us apart is our vessel “Jes’s” constant perseverance and dedication to fully immersing herself into our personas while healing publicly in the form of art. Finding out why she split in the first place, has been an echo in our storylines. She isn’t just slapping on a wig while on stage with a different name, this is a full commitment of channeling, documenting, discipline, creating, organizing and grounding.

And even with such an intense and wild form of art, we still able to meet a proper level of professionalism, hot pink hair and thongs or not.

How do you think about luck?
There is definitely some truth to being in the right place at the right time. Often, I have gotten opportunities by attending events I didn’t even want to, including events where I felt like I was going to overwork myself and not make any profit. I remember one event in particular: after hours of pouring myself into a pop-up show, I didn’t make a dime. But I did meet a collaborator, a dear friend, and someone who has constantly believed in me. They drove me to produce some of my best work.
The more I think about this question and our career, the more I feel it’s been less about luck and more about perseverance. We have been working nonstop for over a decade, and only now are things starting to heat up.
But if I didn’t do the spiritual work and healing, constantly fail while growing stronger, and drive myself crazy on little sleep with this intense drive, I wouldn’t be here at all.
It’s been a slow climb, and there has been a recent shift that has nothing to do with “luck.” I took ownership of the demons that had been following me and my career around since I was a child, shifting my thoughts, opening my body, and letting go of many things that no longer served me and were acting as blocks to the success we were always capable of achieving.
