Rising Stars: Meet Taylor Hungerford of Los Angeles / OC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Hungerford.

Hi Taylor, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
SilverSparkPrintWorks began as the moniker for my social media work for fellow artists. It then grew to include graphic design in print, video and photo. I continue to be consulted to do work in the Los Angeles music community and otherwise.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Freelance work is always difficult. You have downtime as well as slow months. Thankfully people like what I do and continue to ask me back.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My motto always is “make art, not product.” So when I go in to create something, it’s always a process of refining, asking what the kernel of the idea is. I don’t want it to be simply content but something that exists on its own.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Be patient and let the parts fall where they may. Also find your people – they’ll never forget you.
