Rising Stars: Meet Natalie Rand of Los Angeles / OC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Rand.

Hi Natalie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My path to wellness naturally manifested through creativity, movement, and whole-person care. My journey founding All Things Core, came after fulfilling many roles as a performing artist. I performed on Broadway and The Lion King was one of the milestone experiences that shaped my experienced firsthand on how demanding performance can be on the body, mind, and spirit. The performance chapter ultimately deepened my interest in the power of healing and the potential of movement, mindfulness, and personalized wellness.

Today, I’m a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, a Reiki Master, and the founder and lead practitioner of All Things Core, a concierge wellness practice in Santa Monica, California. Through integrative medicine, the inclusive, and diverse elements of Pilates, herbal guidance and individualized health programming, I help clients build sustainable practices that support meaningful mind-body transformation.

My work is informed by both clinical training and a deep respect for Ayurveda’s cultural roots. I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Whole Health Leadership while interning at Athreya Integrative Health Center under Vaidya Jay. I also collaborate with SCU’s Ayurveda program and marketing team to expand education, outreach, and appreciation for Ayurveda through yoga, Pilates, and whole-health programming. One of the most cherished gifts at All Things Core is we are able to collaborate with modern medicine practices and integrate different methods of healing. This allows us to truly personalize the healing experience through what matters most to the patient.

At the heart of everything I do is a belief that wellness should feel personal, empowering, and accessible. All Things Core brings together ancient wisdom and practical modern support to help people reconnect with themselves and create health routines that truly fit their lives.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest challenges is my desire to learn! I have this tenacity to open my mind and consume more information so I am able to share and implement different teachings. It can also pose a challenge because it’s incredibly important to appreciate being still. I am working on the joy of still and quiet in our very busy planet.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I would classify my work to be both business centric, creative, artistic, and professional. It blossoms through the knowledge I am attaining through my current client base and it evolves through the education I love to continue to consume. I am working on providing more resources that allow the opportunity for everyone to heal. I don’t want finances to stand in the way of people attaining ways to heal/ grow.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
If you are just starting out in the healing arts or even having imposter syndrome, I would gently share with you, “There is no perfect time”. If there was an ideal time to start, I would classify that time as, NOW. If you are not a little freaked out by what your goals are, I recommend digging deeper until there is a feeling of discomfort. Then I’d say you are on the right track.
