Rising Stars: Meet Marilyn Poscic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marilyn Poscic.

Hi marilyn, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My spiritual journey began in 1995 with the passing of my only sibling, my brother. I began to question first, why him, why not me. I then began to question what happens when we die or do we really die? Shortly after his passing I began to see Angel around people as well as “dead” people and hear messages, These messages were for other people not necessarily myself. I shared these messages with people who they were intended for. Most thought it was really great but still others felt I had gone crazy. I was not a religious person but the Angel were very comforting to me however the “dead people became as prominent and then began to scare me. A friend suggested I take a Reiki class which I had no idea what Reiki was, I thought it was a dance like reggae. I take take the full weekend class becoming a Reiki Master Teacher and the the instructor informed me I would become a very powerful healer. A friend invited several people one evening to have me do readings for them even though I had no idea what I was doing. More and more kept showing up on different evenings and people began to call me for their own private sessions. I began to work with other psychics and mediums reading many books and taking many classes and today I am known world wide!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. First there was my own self doubt, then the criticism of others which increased my own self doubt. The more I learned, the more confident I became. When people began to call me to explain how much I helped them, I knew I was on the right path!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I connect with peoples’ Angels and passed love ones to bring comfort, love, a better since of direction in life, healing and closure. I am very proud to be the author of not one but 3 books. My children’s book, Angel Angel Everywhere is the one I am most proud of. Not ever having children it was hard for an older adult to wrap my brain around a child’s thinking to put into words on paper. However I am very proud to say it has been well received!

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
The Angel have been my biggest supporters. I had many mentors which is why I like to mentor people now, I have had many friends encourage me all along the way but I also have lost many so called friends who simply could not understand what I do.
