ORIANA shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning ORIANA, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Music does. It’s the one place where I can lose myself completely without losing control. When my ego gets loud or tries to pull me off center, music brings me back home to myself. Playing or writing takes me out of the noise and into something bigger where time doesn’t matter, but honesty does. It grounds me, reminds me of who I really am, and keeps me connected to that part of me that’s real, raw, and unshakable.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Oriana, a rock artist who lives for creating a universe where my truth can exist without apology. My music feels less like a conversation and more like screaming into the void of the universe, where I know I’ll be heard, understood, and safe for speaking my mind. I grew up studying artists like Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, and Kurt Cobain, and that same spirit of rebellion and vulnerability bleeds through everything I make. What makes my work unique is its rawness. I’m not chasing perfection, I’m chasing something real, something that’s alive. Right now, I’m building worlds through my songs and curating live shows that give people permission to feel everything: the chaos, the beauty, the hurt, and the healing. It’s messy, it’s loud, and it’s mine.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
For me, it’s the imbalance. My ego and my inner saboteur have fueled my art, but if either takes over, they throw me off center and I hurt myself and the people I care about. I don’t want to erase those parts of me, they make me real, but I do want to release the lack of balance. I’m learning to let creation and destruction exist side by side without one consuming the other.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
There’s nothing like failing nothing like heartbreak or suffering. Success feels good and the instant gratification fuels me, but it doesn’t change you the way pain does. suffering taught me resilience. It showed me how to rise when I thought I couldn’t. Those moments of being knocked down forced me to reset and come back stronger, more honest and more alive. Success can celebrate you, but suffering rebuilds you. You have to let go and let goddess to reach the next level.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m committed to expanding my artistry forever. creating is something I have to do, it’s in me. right now, the album I’m cultivating is the truest expression of that. it’s about the balance between creation and destruction, the two forces I’m always wrestling with. this record is the ultimate crash out album, and it marks the next step in my evolution. I’m excited to see where my universe expands next.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I’m doing what I was born to do. Music has always cut through the noise of what anyone else thought I should be. I wasn’t told to make this world, I came into this already carrying it, and I’ll burn through every wall until it’s heard.
