Meet Photographer Peter Park

Today we’d like to introduce you to Peter Park.

Peter, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am a Los Angeles based fashion photographer. I opened my studio on 2006 in Downtown LA. I started as a graphic designer back in 2000. I’ve been always want to be in the fashion industry somehow. Around 2004, when everything became digital  I finally had a chance to get into the photography and fashion business, but still couldn’t find the way as a full-time job. At the end of 2005 my brother passed away in a car accident in Korea. I decided to go all into my true passion for life. I’ve alway been into so many things including cars, fashion, food, travel, music and etc… And luckily I had a so many great opportunities to have fulfilled all my interests as a photographer so far. I’ve always been challenging myself, and say “I can do better than this” and always get the best of result that satisfies me and client.

What role has luck had in your life and career?
I want to say “KARMA” instead of luck for that question. I used to be one of the people who returned the attitude of “eye for an eye” for everything, but since I realize how “Let it be, Let it go ” works, everything is getting more meaningful. My studio “KIBO” means hope. Good Karma and hope always plays a good role in my life and career.

Tell us about your favorite and least favorites things about our city.
I think the best part of Los Angeles is cultural diversity, you can go around the world in an hour riding bike in downtown LA. And same as other big cities, parking is one of least likable part of the city.
