Meet Sade Cooper

In high school, I became an avid planner. My interest in coordinating was a direct result of the many leadership positions I held. As Vice President of the entire student body and Senior Class President, I was responsible for the coordination of: fundraisers, club meetings, morning announcements, pep rallies and assemblies, field trips, prom.. the list goes on. It came natural to me. I always took pride in my ability to work well with others and I enjoyed playing a role in seeing events come to life and my peers enjoy it all.

I combined all of my passions: music, dance and planning, to create the perfect recipe. I became an event planner! It’s one of the best ways to utilize my skills and help so many people in the process. In 2007, I planned my 21st birthday party; in 2014, my best friend’s wedding and 10-year High School Class Reunion. Every year, I always work on various projects without losing my commitment to excellent execution. I piece together vendors, assist in fully executing a theme, consult with celebrants, coordinate weddings, birthday parties, baby showers and bachelorette parties, etc. You name it, I get involved!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I am very fortunate to do what I love. I am in a position to make people happy and take some of the pains of putting together a well-planned event away. The most difficult part of my journey was finding a distinct business name. I wanted it to be eye-catching and different. I remember jotting down acronyms and having dialogue with a couple of friends about it. I was so fixated on including buzz words and I had to be cautious not to choose something that would potentially limit my clientele. After tossing dozens of balled-up paper filled with handwritten names into the trashcan, I remembered that I was the most unique part of my business. I am what makes the brand and experience what it is. There are hundreds of people who plan events, charge comparable fees and are experienced, but there is only one me.

Sade Cooper Events is an event planning and management company specializing in coordinating a variety of business and personal affairs. We handle everything from helping you select a venue to creating and managing your budget and providing contacts to some of the best and most experienced vendors.

I am most proud that I have been able to bring so many people together to create life-long memories and celebrate a special occasion without breaking the bank.

My integrity and genuine spirit is what sets me apart from the rest. I maintain great relationships with a variety of people which has been extremely advantageous in forming the right team for a client or event. Having endless contacts has definitely given me an edge, and many of them become the source of referrals. I’m also known to have an infectious, high energy. I’ll dance with you, constantly wear a smile on my face and won’t crack under pressure. I am a reliable, professional and affordable expert in fun!
