Hi Isaac, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Breakpoint Booking started as a wing of my management company. At the time I was representing and helping a few unsigned, independent acts from various markets. As the wing grew it became its own entity and officially went into business in 2018.
Subsequently, we are one of very few black-owned talent agencies offering comprehensive services across music, comedy, speaking, co-branding, and soon, sports. We provide full-spectrum support, from touring and booking to celebrity partnerships, talent acquisition for festivals, and expert consulting.
Our unique value lies in our “earlier-stage” talent development approach. We champion developing, breaking, and rising talent long before other agencies, all while providing a highly personalized, hands-on service with unmatched transparency. Our legacy includes being the pioneering agency for artists such as Tank & the Bangas, Benny The Butcher, Harry Mack, Lost Dog Street Band, and Nasser Al Reyess. We are where the next generation of stars is launched onto the global stage.
This year (2025) we celebrated 7 years in business with a “five” year party celebration, blaming Covid for the oddness.
Congrats on being in business for more than five years! Did you do anything to celebrate?
This past May, the company held an exciting gathering on the beach in Newport Beach, CA. Agents flew in from across the U.S., and guests enjoyed an amazing spread crafted by celebrity chef @nolachef212. The event was a huge success, celebrating our growth and prosperity. A massive thank you to everyone who traveled to our Airbnb, and a special congratulations again to @alec_arouh for winning 2024 Agent of the Year during our ceremony! Photos by @howiepicpic.
We plan to hold another one in three years for our “one decade in business” celebration. For now, we are just happy to continue to grow and to continue to service our clients.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Entrepreneurship inherently involves risk, a truth magnified by operating a 100% commission-based talent agency. While I may not have always seen myself as a risk-taker, I firmly believe that with risk comes reward, and sometimes, you simply have to prove it to yourself. My stubborn determination drives this path, and though fear is a real presence, the greater fear for me is regret.
We are granted but one life (as we are). My conviction is to follow one’s purpose, especially when it is clearly seen. Despite starting with zero capital, I have always held an unwavering belief in this roads potential.
