Today we’d like to introduce you to Eha Rouge.
Eha, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
It all started when I was a young kid, I loved music and watching Michael Jackson. I wanted to be like him on stage, I wanted to dance like him, and even look like him possibly haha! At the age of seven, I started playing guitar because my grandfather started teaching me, and my mom put me into guitar lessons. From then on I knew that I loved music for sure and everyone around me said that I pick up things so quickly. At the age of 13, I already picked up piano, guitar, and drums. This is when I started to produce music on software that my friend, thank God, introduced me to called emagic. Then I start to produce on Fruity loops until now. I currently have three hits on the Billboard and multiple songs on the radio and millions of streams.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It was definitely not a smooth road. I had to work for a lot of people that I didn’t want to work for, and I had to do a lot of things I didn’t want to do, nothing sexual ha ha, but it was definitely crazy all the amount of interning and not shining that was not allowed to do during this process of blowing up. A lot of people told me I shouldn’t be an artist or shouldn’t be a producer or why am I chasing his unreachable dream, but guess what I’m here now. Deafly had to fight through a lot of different energies to get here!
Alright – so let’s talk business. What else should we know about you and your career so far?
I am a top 20 billboard producer-songwriter an engineer, I also do a little bit of artistry with my own album on Spotify right now called trap Angels go stream it now! I dabble in stock trading and media management and marketing as well but no one really knows that ha ha. I do so many other things I’m really a jack of all trades when it comes to creative work.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I give myself a lot of credit because I envisioned what I desired & my faith in myself inspired me to pursue what I truly wanted, But I definitely have to preach friends, family and work partners; the select few who really believe in me and pushed me further when I dared lose faith. I love them and they know who they are wink wink.
