Meet Joel Camacho of The Camacho Group in Pasadena

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joel Camacho.

Joel, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I went to Arts Districts and Angel City Brewery. Not only did I invite my friends to hang out with him, I went on stage at Angel City Brewery and invited everyone there. (They have amateur nights where people can perform on stage and I requested to go up)

Because we travel a lot, I know how amazing it is to hang with the locals. That’s a big reason why I invited him out. I felt like I understanding of his situations.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I run The Camacho Group of RE/MAX Masters. I have a private office in Pasadena where my team operates.

We help families and investors sell and buy real estate.

Hopefully, the video shows what sets us apart but from strictly a business standpoint. Here is a great video that separates us.

We are also always trying to give back. We raised a few thousand with this campaign for the fires in California.

What were you like growing up?
My brother would always get mad at me because I always went my own way. For example, if everyone took the stairs, I took the elevator and vice versa.

I naturally just like doing things my way and I don’t like to conform.

I was told from an old friend how we met in elementary school. I personally didn’t remember the story. But he said he was crying in the back of class and I went up to him, comforted him and had him start hanging with my friends. I don’t remember the story but I’m sure I that did that I remember being in his shoes the year prior.

My parents told me not too long ago that they learned taking stuff away from me never worked as punishment. Taking my social activities away the most effective approach. All that said, I love my friends and family. I’m the guy that organizes everything some friend trips, events and parties.

I would say I am an organizer. I love putting things together. This includes a business. I love bringing people into my circle and watching them flourish.
