Meet Bruna Miranda of Bruna Monteiro – Yoga & Holistic Therapies

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bruna Miranda.

Bruna, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Im originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. My journey into holistic wellness began here in LA over two decades ago through yoga, which opened the door to a lifelong passion for healing arts and integrative therapies. As my path evolved, I deepened my studies in Therapeutic Bodywork and Ayurvedic Treatments, cultivating an approach that supports nervous system regulation and Integral well-being.
I currently run a private practice from my Beverly Hills studio, where I offer personalized
therapeutic sessions designed to help clients feel more grounded, regulated, restored, and connected to themselves.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. One of the main challenges was building a stable private practice while staying aligned with a holistic, intuitive approach to healing.
There was also a learning curve in balancing the therapeutic depth of my work with the practical side of running a business. Over time, these challenges helped me refine my path and strengthen my commitment to a holistic approach to wellness and whole-person care.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My integrative practice in Beverly Hills weaves together Yoga, Ayurveda, and therapeutic bodywork, with a focus on nervous system balance, tension release, and overall renewal.
Sessions are highly personalized and view the body as an interconnected system, supporting ease and wholeness rather than isolated patterns.
What distinguishes my work is the seamless integration of these traditions, which together foster awareness, balance, and natural renewal.
What I value most is the calm, intentional space I’ve created where clients can slow down, settle, and reconnect with themselves.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about LA is the sense of possibility it holds within such a dynamic cultural landscape. There’s a unique blend of creativity, diversity, and innovation here, especially in the wellness and artistic communities, which continually inspires my work and personal growth. I also appreciate the access to nature and the way the city offers spaces for both movement and stillness.
What I find more challenging is the pace and intensity that can sometimes make it harder to slow down and stay grounded. It can feel overstimulating at times, which is why creating intentional spaces of calm, connection, and regulation, both in my personal life and my work, has become especially important to me.
