Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Gilbert.

Hi Tiffany, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a Inglewood, CA based Fashion and Beauty Photographer, 18 years in. I also work in the Tech side of Creative Operations in Production. I grew up in Hollywood, CA in the media district most of my life.

I bought my first camera in 2008 while I was attending the Art Institute, studying Fashion Marketing and Management. My goal was to photograph my Wardobe Styling work, but at some point I learned how to monetize in event work. At first at church, LA Fashion Week runway shows and working with Fashion and Beauty brands.

I have worked with companies such as: Nike, Walmart, SHEIN, Torrid, Smashbox Cosmetics/Studios and more.
To add, I am disabled from taking a COVID-19 vaccine however… I still continue to push through every single day, choosing joy.. Resilience goes a long way and I am happy to still be able create and also share my story through art.

I have connected with so many individuals who deal with similar situations, that are also strong enough to continue create with their storytellings whether its through Photography, Fashion, Film, Writing and more. I have been inspired by so many different people that I have come across from all across the world and I’m happy to know that I inspire others too.

Being a Creative will always be a huge part of my life and I look forward to continue to learn more and inspire others.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Being disabled, it can be challenging working in production and being a creative. However confidence and understanding your craft goes a long way, keeping a positive attitude and also to add having a great team to work with.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I wear many hats. I originally was a Graphic Design (at the age of 12…self-taught MySpace days). I also did Web Design, Wardrobe Styling and of course Photography.

I am proud to have so many different skills and have met so many other great people that I was able to learn from.

What matters most to you? Why?
Integrity, Communication, Respect and always keeping my mind open to learn new things.
