Inspiring Conversations with Kendall Seyer of End All Clutter Home Organizing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kendall Seyer.

Hi Kendall, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I spent many years working in documentary and non-fiction television, producing shows that range from car racing to interior design. It was fast-paced, creative work that took me all over the country and around the world. And I had the pleasure of meeting so many fascinating people.

While on hiatus a few years ago, I started my home organizing business End All Clutter— something I had been thinking about for nearly a decade before finally taking the leap. I didn’t realize at the time how quickly it would become the central focus of my work and creativity.

As a producer, what I loved most was always the people: the skilled carpenters, firefighters, racers, bakers— so many different lives and stories. I realized I wasn’t just drawn to production; I was drawn to the people— getting to know them as they open up about their everyday lives, their work, the challenges and victories that shape who they’ve become. It’s been an honor to share their stories with the world.

Now, I bring that same lens to my home organizing work. I help clients to simplify and organize their spaces in a way that supports how they actually live, creating systems that reduce the stress of everyday life and transform their homes into calm environments where they can thrive, relax and spend time on what really matters in life. For me, it’s still about storytelling— just in a more personal, grounded way.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I love this question— even bumpy roads can have great views and amazing destinations. The toughest things I’ve done in my life have often turned out to be the most rewarding, and starting my own business has been no different.

I had no formal training in entrepreneurship when I began. I knew I was great at organizing— I had years of experience helping friends, family, as well as organizing huge television productions— but building a business from the ground up was entirely new territory. I threw myself into it: reading, listening to podcasts, signing up for online workshops, and figuring things out through trial and error. There were definitely moments of uncertainty, but also moments of real clarity where I knew I was on the right path, even if it wasn’t a smooth one.

I am incredibly grateful to the people who believed in me early on. Referrals from trusted real estate professionals helped me recognize an area where my skills could make a meaningful impact. Supporting people as they prepare to sell their home, move, downsize, or navigate a major life change has become one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
End All Clutter helps people simplify their homes and lives during times of transition. Whether you’re preparing to move, downsizing, helping a parent navigate a move, or simply feeling overwhelmed by clutter, I provide hands-on support and a clear plan that makes the process feel manageable.

What sets my business apart is that I don’t just organize spaces— I help people make decisions. Many clients come to me feeling stuck, stressed, or unsure where to begin. Together, we work through what to keep, what to let go, and how to create systems that support the next chapter of their lives.

I believe home organizing is about far more than neat bins and beautiful pantries. A well-organized home can reduce daily stress, save time, improve routines, and create a greater sense of calm. Our homes should be places that support us, not sources of constant frustration and overwhelm. To me, hiring a home organizer is as practical as hiring a house cleaner.

I’m most proud of the impact this work has on people’s lives. Clients often tell me they feel lighter, more focused, and more at ease in their homes after we’ve worked together. Seeing that transformation— both in the space and in the person— is incredibly rewarding.

Sustainability is also a core value of my business. Whenever possible, I help clients repurpose what they already own and thoughtfully redirect unwanted items through donation, recycling, resale, and community organizations so less ends up in landfills. That commitment inspired me to host a successful “Declutter & Donate” drive benefitting Operation Blankets of Love, giving Los Angeles residents a meaningful way to declutter while supporting animals in need. My goal is to create organized homes in a way that benefits both families and the environment.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
When I was about four or five years old, I walked into the house and asked my mom for an empty jar. She asked why I needed it, and I told her I was going to catch a fly. She handed me an empty mayonnaise jar she’d washed out to re-use later and suggested I put a little honey inside. I politely declined, took my jar outside, and a few minutes later returned with an unsuspecting fly trapped inside. I eventually let the little guy go, but I’m still proud of the determined kid who set a goal— as random as it was— and figured out how to make it happen.
