Today we’d like to introduce you to Charmaine Holland.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi, my name is Charmaine Holland and how I got started is having a “purpose” as an child being a teen mom at the age of 13 given birth to a baby boy at the age of 14 was definitely a game changer, change my whole perception of life, mindset and purpose driven by understanding the world that we live in.

I graduated from high school. with my peers . Left home at 18 years old and my first job working for a family business that recycle mobile homes axles and tires, they taught me everything about business every department that you can think of to become a millionaire..

By the time I was 33 I was making $six figures, as a single mother with two boys, which I dedicated my life being the best mother I could be and the best CFO that I could ever become.

After 18years working for the company, I have reached the maximum in learning anything else.. Then the recession happens in 2009, My health took a toll where I experienced several mini strokes.
I had to walk away from the job.

I had about $40k saved, and 401k which I had to used up. Then overtime I was accepted for unemployment. Which allowed me to start my own business with all the experience I had, I poured into myself in started a business called Holland financial consultant, I went into the community. I started helping people in the community, meeting entrepreneurs, teaching them to understand the P&L financials. I started working with leaders in the community with business.. started during taxes for the community..

Then Covid turn my life upside down. I heard the voice says it’s not happening to you is happening for you get out I’m world and go help more people. So the opportunity came, where I was accepted to visit the county jail as a chaplain in Lynnwood Los Angeles as giving back to the community. My background as a teen mother had the expertise to nurture the young ladies inside with unconditional love. I would visit the ladies every week, while I run the financial business.

I fell in love with uplifting the ladies , by turning their pain into purpose.. Where they see the beauty in life, Being an Author of 2 books allowed my to share my books to help the ladies, to go deep within by releasing what no longer severe them.

As I pour into them, they pour into me by letting me see my potential of helping other women that’s not incarcerated. Is where I started going to ToastMaster!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Life is full of obstacles and challenges that allow you to take your potential and experience, mindset to next level.. being a teen mom allow me to understand, how to shape in mold a human being and love on them unconditionally.

Without obstacles or challenges their no growth in life. We must learn and challenge ourselves to experience life without fear or self doubt or self destruction. Life obstacles are beautiful if you understand that there something beautiful at the end.

I’m executive director of Holland financial consultant, I been working in the field for 35 years helping small business nonprofit in corporations seeing their business on paper showing them what’s working and who not working so they can scale and generate the revenue that they need so they can leave a legacy behind.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Being transparent with self, knowing your shortcomings, knowing where you need to be strong at and having someone to be able to teach you and be okay with having a partner with you in business can really help if everyone is in alignment.

Seeing it modeled at a young age, have shown me the beauty and dedication focus and having a drive.. in being honest with self and loving what you do will make you be successful
