Hidden Gems: Meet Reema Vithlani of Sheesh Aesthetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Reema Vithlani.

Hi Reema , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
After more than 25 years in healthcare, I created Sheesh Aesthetics because I wanted to approach aesthetics differently.

The foundation of the practice is what I call the Sheesh Method™: It starts with the person, not the procedure. Instead of beginning with “What treatment do you want?” I want to understand what someone is trying to achieve, what matters to them, and whether a treatment actually makes sense.

I believe aesthetics should be thoughtful, individualized, and never driven by pressure or the idea that someone needs to be “fixed.” Sometimes the right recommendation is a treatment, and sometimes it is to do less or nothing at all.

That philosophy has guided Sheesh Aesthetics from the beginning: thoughtful care, honest recommendations, and never treating someone like a problem to solve.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been learning how different being a great clinician is from being a great business owner.

I came into Sheesh Aesthetics with more than 25 years of healthcare experience, but building a business required an entirely different skill set—marketing, branding, finances, operations, and learning how to grow without losing the philosophy behind the practice.

There is also a lot of pressure in aesthetics to follow trends, sell more, and move quickly. I have had to become comfortable building differently, even when that means growing more slowly.

The challenge has been learning how to build a successful business without turning Sheesh into something I never wanted it to be.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Sheesh Aesthetics is a boutique aesthetics practice focused on thoughtful, individualized care and results that still feel like you.

Our services include laser hair removal, micro-needling with radio frequency, injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers, skin treatments, and PRP for hair restoration. We have a particular focus on skin of color and understand that different skin tones, hair types, and concerns require a more nuanced approach.

What sets Sheesh apart is the philosophy behind the services. Through the Sheesh Method™, we start with the person, not the procedure. We look at what someone is hoping to achieve and recommend what actually makes sense for them, rather than simply selling the service they walked in asking for.

I never compromise on safety, comfort, or results. I take a lot of pride in making clients feel comfortable not only physically during their services, but emotionally as well. I want people to feel heard, respected, informed, and never judged or pressured.

What I am most proud of is that Sheesh has become a brand built around trust, expertise, restraint, and genuine care. For me, that is everything.

How do you think about luck?
I’m not sure how much I believe in luck, good or bad. What I do believe strongly is something I have always told my kids: life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to it.

That philosophy shows up in every part of my life, and you will hear me repeat it with clients. We cannot control everything that happens to us, but we can control how we show up for it.

When it comes to Sheesh Aesthetics, I know how much I have invested—not just financially, but in time, energy, education, and training. That has meant thoughtfully creating the space, making significant investments in technology such as laser and microneedling devices, and continuing to invest in my own knowledge and skills.

Even the products we carry are intentionally curated. I am not interested in choosing something simply because it is trending or inexpensive. I want everything associated with Sheesh to reflect the same thoughtfulness and standards I would want for myself or someone I care about.

So maybe luck has played a role along the way. But what matters more to me is continuing to show up prepared, keep learning, and give my best to the people who choose to place their trust in me.
