Gina Venturini shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Gina , so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
To open myself up to all kinds of opportunities that include me getting back to my creativity.
And especially opening up my heart to allow some one in to create a deeper bond with and a long term relationship.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a benefits consultant appointed to Aflac, and various health and life insurance carriers. I work with businesses with at least 3 employees in all types of industries, as well, the city of Los Angeles and State of California employees providing them solutions to help protect those out of pocket medical expenses.
When I was previously interviewed by your magazine years ago, I was promoting my creative endeavors as a singer, jewerly designer and author.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The need for me to control the outcome. Whether in business or in my personal life, If something didn’t work out how I expected it to, I used to see myself as failing however, now, I have relized that everything that is meant for my life falls into place when the time is right. Whatever does not work out, is a blessing in disguise.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Please, don’t put so much pressure on yourself. You are doing great!
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Connection.
I feel with phones and social media, we have lost the true meaning of connection between individuals and we need to get back to in person conversations where we can laugh, cry and learn from one another. Also, creating new experiences together.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Overthinking and worrying.
