Exploring Life & Business with Shabir Radkar of AID Corp

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shabir Radkar.

Hi Shabir , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m Shabir Radkar. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan and raised amid challenges, I learned early that obstacles aren’t barriers—they’re catalysts for bold thinking and action.
I study Political Science & International Relations at Istanbul Aydın University, shaping my understanding of politics, power, and global dynamics. Supplementing this with courses on AI for academic research, I’ve combined knowledge with practical tools to lead strategically and innovatively.
Professionally, I began with small projects, gradually building multi-dimensional ventures. As CEO of SKB, founder and CEO of TTA and through AID Corp, I’ve structured international trade across the Middle East and innovated operational models in Istanbul’s health tourism industry.
Beyond business, I’ve bridged knowledge and action. At MGU, I connect theory with practice, while through the Tribune-e-Tagheer Afghanistan, I’ve advanced a platform envisioning the university as a hub for social, economic, and political leadership—empowering future generations.
Media interviews have allowed me to share these experiences, emphasizing that success is rooted in effort, resilience, and growth through adversity.
In short, my journey is about transforming limitations into impact—through education, strategy, and building meaningful structures. And the story is still unfolding.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey hasn’t always been smooth. Growing up in Afghanistan, I faced instability, limited resources, and the challenge of carving my path in a competitive, complex world.
Throughout my education and career, I encountered setbacks and moments of doubt that demanded tough decisions. Building international businesses and structuring projects across diverse markets came with their own obstacles—from legal and cultural hurdles to managing risk with limited resources.
Yet, each challenge taught me invaluable lessons: patience, adaptability, smart decision-making, and the ability to spot opportunities even in difficult circumstances. Today, I see every obstacle as a chance to grow, and while the path has been far from easy, it has made me stronger, wiser, and more determined to create meaningful impact.

We’ve been impressed with AID Corp, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
AID Corp is a dynamic, multi-dimensional organization designed to bridge opportunity, innovation, and impact. Based in Istanbul with a base in California, we operate across several key sectors: health tourism, education development, real estate, exports, and currency exchange. Our goal is to provide services that are not only efficient and professional but also meaningful—creating real value for our clients, partners, and communities.
What sets AID Corp apart is our integrated approach. Unlike traditional companies that focus on a single sector, we design cross-functional solutions that leverage expertise across industries. In health tourism, for instance, we combine world-class medical services with seamless logistical support, ensuring both quality and convenience. In education, we develop programs that empower future leaders through practical, knowledge-driven experiences.
I’m most proud of how AID Corp has built trust and credibility internationally, particularly in markets across the Middle East and Europe. Our brand stands for innovation, reliability, and strategic thinking.
For your readers, I want them to know that AID Corp is more than a business—it’s a platform for growth, opportunity, and impact, dedicated to delivering solutions that transform ideas into real-world success.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I like best about Los Angeles is its energy and diversity. It’s a city where creativity, innovation, and ambition intersect—where people from every background come together to build, create, and make an impact. The opportunities for collaboration, networking, and experiencing different cultures are unparalleled, and the city’s dynamic vibe is truly inspiring.
What I like least is the traffic and pace of life. While the city offers so much, getting from one place to another can be a challenge, and sometimes the hustle and congestion can feel overwhelming. But even this fast pace teaches resilience, adaptability, and the value of time—lessons that are essential for anyone pursuing success here.
