Exploring Life & Business with Jason Murchison of Learn To Surf

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Murchison.

Hi Jason, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
A life long surfer and OC native who saw a gap with the majority of surf schools hiring part time untrained high school aged surf instructors. So Jason Murchison brought his skills developed while going to the University of Hawaii and being a part of Naval Special Warfare to surf instruction. Learn To Surf stands as the standard of how surf lessons should be taught by professionals with the highest level of safety protocols. Learn To Surf has given countless lessons over the last 12 years and we have the reviews that speak for themselves.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The city of Newport Beach tried to stop learn to surf with over 10 years of litigation but we settled in court.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
