Daily Inspiration: Meet Sarah Kler

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Kler.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Long story short,
I grew up with a single mother and my grandma. They both worked multiple jobs to take care of me. I am forever grateful for that. When I was 17 years old I had a beautiful daughter and we are such best friends. She inspires me every single day. She is by far the coolest human I know. She amazes me with her sweet, kind, creative, talented and loving personality! I honestly dont know what id do without her. She supports me in whatever I want to do and in turn I support her wholeheartedly. When I was young, I was always chronically shy and always doing what I was told,
but as I grew into an adult I started making my love of making movies and music into reality. I refuse to simply focus on an office job like everyone advised me to. I want to go out into the world and turn it upside down in the best way.
I left Houston, Texas at the stroke of midnight and drove three days alone into California chasing my dreams.
My daughter is in Texas for the time being finishing her high school diploma and we have such a good relationship. I was so young when I had her so, we are like sisters. I love her so much so, I am out here making a future for us. She supports me and I will always support her. When I got here to cali I lived in my car for a couple of months knowing I’d do whatever it takes to make my dreams a reality. I knew I could do whatever I set my mind to. My late grandmother instilled that in me. I am very driven and very creative, no more shy scared girl. I am determined to share my story of preserverence through tough times. I am determined to make millions of people happy through telling my story and in turn showing people that they can make their dreams a reality too!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Alot of people told me I should just stay with my medical/office jobs but I knew that I am capable of more than just the mediocre. It was hard, I drove out to California with only 600 dollars in my pocket and ended up staying in my car but I have a dream in my heart. As of now I have found a way to sustain myself. Alot of people doubted me and that hurt me but I have kept on going knowing I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I love caring for people. I have been in the medical field for about 7 years. I am currently working at a tanning salon in California just to get to know the area and make connections. What sets me apart from the crowd is that I am uncommonly kind and I go out of my way to help and inspire people from all walks of life. I am a ball of love. I have a dream to make this wild world a better place.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was a very shy girl. That was a struggle for me because I was heavily bullied in school for not talking and acting like all the other kids. I was born in 1991 so, here is a few odd facts about me, I loved taking computers apart and putting them back together. I also loved making cool structures out of vhs tapes like roller coasters and improvising making my own movies. We didnt have alot of money or anything so, I improvised it. I would use a disposable camera and have my mom take the film to the local walgreens to get a CD rom of the photos. I inserted it into our big ol 90s computer, pulled up windows slide show, placed my boom box beside it, turned the lights down and made it cinematic. I was the odd ball out. I was always way too kind and loving. I was especially always so interested in making people happy through writing , music and my everyday mannerisms. I am honored to take this opportunity to let anyone reading this know that you have survived what would have taken out most people, and look how far you have come. If you can withstand life’s challenges and come this far, imagine just how much further you can go.

You are an alchemist, my dear. Do not fear your own power; embrace it and use it to transform your life. The strength you possess is remarkable, harness it to create the future you envision. Your potential is limitless.

I feel my purpose is to share my story so, it may be a guide book for someone else. Yes, I know there is alot of people who do inspirational talks, write and do music but maybe just maybe I can reach a sector of people who the others perhaps couldn’t.

There is nothing wrong with you. You just have to categorize things and make your next move accordingly.

It is your life that you are making.
