Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicky Park.
Nicky, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
-started modeling when I was 19 years old.
-was scouted while working at a coffee shop in Westminster
-was an import model for about 10 years
-now a full time nursing student, planning on pursuing the NP route afterwards
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not. I was diagnosed with depression at 17 years old. Came from an extremely toxic/abusive household and was kicked out at 23. Spent many years trying to discover what my purpose was and trying to make sense of life itself. Eventually I found my way back to God and found my purpose in helping others while volunteering at a hospital, which is why I am pursing healthcare.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am passionate about modeling, wellness, and healthcare, with a focus on connecting with people and creating a positive impact. I strive to bring confidence, authenticity, and professionalism into everything I do. I’m proud of the discipline and dedication I’ve developed through my experiences, as well as my ability to continue growing and challenging myself. What sets me apart is my genuine personality, strong work ethic, and ability to make people feel comfortable and confident around me. I believe success is not only about appearance or talent, but also about character, consistency, and the ability to inspire others
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next five years, I see the modeling and healthcare industries becoming more technology-driven, inclusive, and personalized. In modeling, artificial intelligence, virtual influencers, and digital fashion will continue changing how brands create and market campaigns, while diversity and authenticity will remain increasingly important. In healthcare, technology such as telemedicine, wearable devices, AI-assisted diagnosis, and personalized treatment will improve accessibility and patient care. I also believe both industries will place greater emphasis on wellness, mental health, and overall confidence. As these industries evolve, adaptability, creativity, and strong communication will be essential for success and creating meaningful connections with others.
