My journey began long before I ever opened Fortune Teller Cottage. I come from a family with generations of spiritual practitioners, and I discovered my own intuitive gifts at a very young age. Over the years, I dedicated myself to developing those abilities through experience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help people navigate life’s most difficult moments.

What started with reading for friends and family gradually grew through word of mouth into a full-time calling. Today, Fortune Teller Cottage is a private, welcoming space where clients can seek guidance on love, relationships, life decisions, and spiritual growth. Every reading is personal, confidential, and centered on helping people find clarity, hope, and direction.

Building this business hasn’t always been easy. Like many small business owners, I’ve faced challenges and had to earn the trust of every client one person at a time. But seeing the positive impact my work has on people’s lives has made the journey incredibly rewarding. I’m grateful to continue doing what I love every day and look forward to helping many more people in the years ahead.

It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many small business owners, I’ve faced my share of challenges. One of the biggest has been building trust in an industry that is often misunderstood. I’ve had to work hard to establish a reputation based on honesty, compassion, and treating every client with respect.

Another challenge has been growing the business in an ever-changing digital world. Learning marketing, social media, and online advertising has been a journey in itself, especially while continuing to focus on providing quality, one-on-one guidance to my clients.

There have also been obstacles with local regulations and finding creative ways to market my services while staying true to who I am. Through it all, I’ve learned to be adaptable, persistent, and to never lose sight of why I started. Every challenge has helped me grow, and seeing the positive impact I have on people’s lives makes it all worthwhile.

Many of my clients come to me when they feel lost, heartbroken, or uncertain about the future, and my goal is to offer insight, hope, and a path forward.

What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. Many return over the years and refer their family and friends because they feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. Every session is personal, confidential, and tailored to the individual rather than being a one-size-fits-all experience.

What sets me apart is my commitment to building real relationships with my clients. Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My biggest piece of advice is to stay authentic and never stop learning. A mentor doesn’t always have to be one person it can be a combination of people whose experience, values, and work ethic you admire. Be open to asking questions, listening, and learning from those who have already walked a similar path.

For me, building genuine relationships has been far more valuable than simply networking. Some of my best opportunities have come through word of mouth, loyal clients, and connecting with people who truly believe in what I do. I also believe in treating everyone with kindness and respect because you never know where a relationship may lead.
