Hi Kim, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My Name is Kim Doyle Lowe, my business is KiKi’s Kandles Kollection. I started my business as KiKi’s Closet, a brand for the curvaceous woman, hit by COVID we were forced to close.
I woke up one morning and shared with my husband that, God told me to start making candles….bells went off, as I am true candle lover I immediately started my research and this is the beginning of KiKi’s Kandles Kollection. I worked for a direct marketing company called Party Light years ago and truly developed my love and how to properly become a true candle lover. Most think you just light a candle and allow it to burn, not necessarily. Candles are art.
At KiKi’s Kandles, we specialize in aromatic scents. Invite KiKi’s Kandles, into your space to enjoy our uniqueness. We specialize in high quality fragrance oils, wax and beautiful sleek vessels. All hand poured with love by a dynamic Husband and Wife team.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Yes, Kandle making has been very smooth for us as we have studied and did research. Not all candles are treated equally, when poured and made with love by a kandle lover.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I have a love for helping people as, I have had a very promising career in the medical profession.
My career started working in the private sector until, I decided I wanted more and needed to expand. I started a career at UCLA -.Medical, I worked in various departments while very eager to learn more about the sciences. I’m currently retired and focus on KiKi’s Kandles Kollection.
At KiKi’s Kandles, I’m very proud to be able to allow my customers to experience our love, time and high quality of products. Our uniqueness truly sets us aside from other candle vendors.
KiKi’s Kandles is now moving in a new direction, we are now offering “Wickless/Flameless Kandles” yes, we will still have wicked kandles as well. We’re often told that we don’t want the flame around our children and pets and some just prefer not having to deal with the flame. Our “wickless/flameless” kandles are the best for those choosing to move in that direction. We also offer kandle warmers. We have thoughtfully covered all bases🕯️

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love LA and our surrounding areas. Born and raised LA.
We’re an exciting city full of amazing people and places.
My least favorite about LA is our traffic. Again being born and raised in the beautiful city of angels it comes with the territory😁
