Community Highlights: Meet Susan Angel of Angel Real Estate & Notary Services LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Susan Angel.

Hi Susan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story has always been centered around people, service, faith, and community.

I’ve spent most of my life in Anaheim and have always had a heart for helping others. For many years, I built my career serving families through healthcare, while also working as a Notary Public and Loan Signing Agent. Those experiences taught me the importance of listening, building trust, being dependable, and helping people navigate some of the most important moments in their lives.

Eventually, I realized that real estate was another way I could serve my community on an even deeper level. I became a licensed Realtor® in 2023, and stepping into this career later in life taught me something very important: it is never too late to begin a new chapter.

Today, I’m proud to serve buyers, sellers, seniors, first-time homebuyers, and families who may not know where to begin. I especially love educating people about homeownership and connecting them with resources and professionals who can help make what once seemed impossible feel possible.

I also created Angel Real Estate & Notary Services LLC, bringing together the experience I’ve gained over the years with my passion for serving others.

My journey has not been without challenges, losses, changes, and moments when I had to start again. But my faith in God, the love of my family, and my desire to keep moving forward have given me strength through every season.

I don’t consider my story finished. I’m still learning, growing, building my business, and finding new ways to give back to the community that has given so much to me. If my journey can encourage even one person to believe that they can start over, pursue a dream, become a homeowner, or simply take that next step, then sharing my story is worth it.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has definitely not been a smooth road. One of the most life-changing seasons of my life came in 2021, when I experienced the devastating loss of my brother and, shortly afterward, my mother. Losing two people I loved so deeply within such a short period of time changed me forever.

Grief has a way of making you look at life differently. There were moments when I had to learn how to keep moving forward while my heart was still hurting. I leaned heavily on my faith, my family, and the belief that God still had a purpose for my life, even when I couldn’t understand what I was going through.

That season taught me that tomorrow is never promised. It gave me a deeper appreciation for people, family, service, and being present in the lives of others. It also gave me the courage to pursue new chapters in my own life instead of continuing to put my dreams on hold.

My journey has included loss, grief, change, and starting over, but those experiences have also shaped my strength, compassion, and determination. I carry my brother and my mother with me in everything I do, and I try to honor them by living with purpose, loving people well, and trusting God through every season.

Angel Real Estate & Notary Services LLC was built on service, trust, relationships, and a genuine desire to help people through some of life’s most important moments. I am a Realtor® and longtime Notary Public, and my goal has always been to make people feel supported, informed, and confident—not pressured.

In real estate, I work with buyers, sellers, first-time homebuyers, seniors, families, and investors. I especially enjoy educating first-time buyers about the different paths to homeownership, including available assistance programs and financing resources. I also hold the Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation and am a Certified Probate & Trust Specialist, allowing me to better serve families navigating important life transitions.

What sets my business apart is that I lead with relationships first. To me, a client is never simply a transaction. I listen to their story, learn what they are trying to accomplish, and connect them with trusted professionals and resources when additional expertise is needed. I often say, “I don’t have all the answers, but I do have the keys.” That represents who I am—I will help you find the right door, the right resource, or the right person to move forward.

I am especially proud that Angel Real Estate & Notary Services LLC reflects my values: faith, integrity, community, education, and service. I want people to know that my brand is about much more than selling homes or notarizing documents. It is about being a trusted resource in my community, building relationships that last beyond the transaction, and helping people believe that their next chapter is possible.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that may surprise people who know me through my work is that I’m a very proud grandmother of four! Even more surprising, three of my grandchildren were born within a year of each other.

My family is truly the center of my world, and becoming a grandmother has given me an even deeper appreciation for family, faith, legacy, and the importance of creating a place to call home. I may stay very busy as a Realtor and Notary Public, but being “Grandma” is one of the greatest blessings and titles I will ever have.
