Community Highlights: Meet Lidia G of The Pink Crow

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lidia G.

Hi Lidia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story? 
My journey began on the heels of dealing with the traumatic experience of my daughter being born with a rare condition and being hospitalized from birth to about 4 months, enduring several surgeries. She came home and was special needs, and I had a one-year-old at home already, so I was under an immense amount of stress. That unregulated stress created pain in my body, and I went to see an Acupuncturist who also did Reiki. I had a couple of sessions for pain and feeling stuck in life; with her intuitive guidance, she recommended I become a healer, too, and said she envisioned me doing facials and healing on people. 

I thought she was crazy. I went to two more intuitive healers who shared similar visions of me. After having a career in non-profits working in drug prevention, I was fearful of a change yet reluctantly got my first certification in Reiki and then going to school for skincare. 

Worked at 5 Star spas and was a skincare educator at Paul Mitchell. A decade after creating that change in my life, I took another leap of faith and opened my own business, combining skincare with spiritual healing. The rest is history. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest obstacle was always me; myself doubt and self-sabotaging patterns have been my biggest struggle. I’ve thankfully reprogrammed my subconscious patterns around that, now allowing room for continue growth and success.
