Community Highlights: Meet Dark Joseph Ravine of Focus Five Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dark Joseph Ravine.

Hi Dark Joseph, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I originally started with being a social media influencer by adventuring around and going to arcade places like Dave and Busters. I’ve been playing at arcades since 2007 so I decided I wanted to do something relating to that. In 2017 I decided to attempt a Guinness World Record for the longest line of arcade tickets. I failed the first time and succeeded the second time. In late 2018 I started learning about celebrities and how they went viral on social media and SEO wise. I was very inspired by marketing and advertising from that. In 2021 I started a online store called, “Kindness for Success”. I felt it was not really getting anywhere so I decided to stop it around 2024. In 2023, I opened a TV show called, “The Dark Joseph Ravine Show” It started as a talk show, then in 2025 became a game show. After that however, the show ended. At the beginning of 2024 I started my marketing/advertising agency, Focus Five Group, where we use our marketing to try to change lives for the better. We work based on clients needs and desires. In 2025, I started getting clients for my advertising business as well as brand deals as an influencer so I just kept working towards that as I felt it was the right direction. In 2026, I released two songs, “You are a Hero” and “B-B-O-B (Behavior Based On Benefit)” because I was told I am a good singer so I decided to tackle the dream. I have a third song coming soon. I started singing in 2013. As of now, I am focused on multiple avenues while working on my marketing/advertising agency.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has never been a smooth road for me as I have struggled with bullying growing up as well as depression and learning issues as a child. I still struggle with depression and sadness sometimes today. However, despite my struggles, my grandmother was my inspiration to never giving up on my humanity and being a good person no matter how much I struggle. Another struggle I faced was to be careful who I let in my life or work with as you never know who you can trust or not. Loyalty is very hard to find these days. I let many wrong people in my life before I succeeded. What I do feel in terms of a smooth road is that I feel I have accomplished a lot in life of owning my own business and managing myself as an influencer, singer, and other business avenues. I never depended on being managed by anyone but myself as sometimes celebrity managers can take severe advantage of success. I was always inspired by Kris Jenner to be my own boss. I was also inspired by her daughter, Kim Kardashian to learn that, “life is never about you, it’s about helping as many people as you can”. From those two celebrities, I felt the strength inside me to keep pushing forward despite my struggles.

In my marketing/advertising agency, Focus Five Group, we focus on what the clients are looking for in terms of going viral on social media, SEO services, in person advertising, events, etc. We deal with clients on a 1 on 1 basis to meet their expectations. Even though I am known for a lot of business avenues and things I have done in my life, I feel my real true calling is advertising and marketing as I always love to learn different ways to provide services and really help clients. What makes me different from everyone else is that we don’t just work with anyone, we have to get to know the client and trust them first and make sure they are a fit. Most businesses would do anything for money, but most definitely not us. Everything we do is all done by genuine interest only. I am very proud that despite my struggles, I have learned to not let anyone step all over me and realize good people versus bad people. I can provide any service a client is looking for, but like I said, I am exclusive, I don’t just work with anyone.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Life is very unpredictable so I honestly cannot answer this question. All I hope is that the future will be bright for me and that G-d guides me to where he wants me in my life. I only believe in my creator and nothing else.
