Bianca Turner on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Bianca Turner. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Bianca, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
I used to drift through my artistic journey like a leaf in the wind—uncertain, curious, searching. But somewhere along the way, I stopped waiting for luck to strike like lightning. I realized that luck is no magic spell—it’s something I forge with my own two hands. These days, I walk my creative path with purpose and fire. I sharpen my skills like a blade, paint with relentless passion, and show up with discipline day after day. I’m not wandering anymore—I’m building. Each brushstroke is a step forward, fueled by belief in my own vision. I don’t hope for success. I create it.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a self-taught artist with degrees in economics and biology. My paintings are displayed in both private and corporate international collections, as well as at the Haegeumgang Museum in South Korea. My artwork has been highlighted in numerous art publications. In 2018 and 2020, I was honored with the Woman Art Award from MUSA International Art Space in Italy and Spain. Additionally, in January 2020, I received the Leonardo da Vinci International Prize – The Universal Artist, which I accepted in Florence, Italy.

In June 2021, I participated as a member of the curatorial team that organized the art exhibition for HRH Archduchess Gabriela von Habsburg in Romania. I also served as one of the primary media sponsors, alongside Forbes magazines, for this significant European cultural event.

I authored “The Business of Art,” which was published on Amazon in 2023. I create my art from my home studio located in Los Angeles.

In 2024, my artistic endeavors included a solo exhibition at CADFAB Gallery in Los Angeles, group exhibitions at museums in Japan, South Korea, Mexico, and Brazil, as well as a solo exhibition at The Cultural Center of the City of Fontana, California. In 2025, I will be represented by Steidel Contemporary Art Gallery based in Lake Worth, Florida.

The art I create draws profound inspiration from nature and its vibrant colors, as well as from the societal challenges that surround me. I perceive art as ‘the definition of infinity’; my work delves into the ongoing transformation of the ever-evolving essence of life and nature. Visions and words metamorphose into colors and textures, crafting new narratives within this realm of infinity.

As an artist, I believe it is crucial to raise awareness about various issues that impact us collectively; thus, I concentrate on conveying a message to all regarding the genuine challenges faced by ordinary individuals, encouraging each person to reflect on their individual impact in this life. I am firmly convinced that we must all leave a legacy for future generations, and my role is to translate this concept from my art to the public. The aim is to help my audience and those who view my work comprehend that the Future, Hope, and Success of the upcoming generations begin with each one of us. We should refrain from saying ‘I hope’ – instead, we should always assert ‘I am hope’ – this principle underpins my compositions.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I’ve always had a rebel’s spark burning in me, even as a child. Yet, I was raised in a home where order echoed through the halls and discipline was a daily ritual—a gift from my family that grounded me. Thankfully, my parents never silenced my spirit; they let me speak my truth, think freely, and explore the world on my terms. They didn’t cage the fire—they simply gave it direction. I consider myself lucky to have lived in both worlds: the wild rhythm of rebellion and the steady beat of discipline. Though I’ve never fully embraced society’s mold of what an individual “should” be, I’ve learned how to navigate life’s structures with ease. I can walk within the lines when I need to—but I always know where the edges are. And when the rules get too loud, I escape into the freedom of my art, where creativity knows no boundaries and rebellion becomes beauty.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I believe most artists face the urge to give up more often than they’d care to admit. I’ve been there—more times than I can count. But every time that thought creeps in, I brush it aside, because deep down I know: I’ll never quit. It’s simply not in my nature. I’m wired to keep going, to push until every ounce of effort has been poured into the canvas. I’m not a writer, but I’ve come to understand something essential—there’s no use sinking into the doldrums. Instead of wasting energy on doubt, I’ve learned to rest when I need to, recharge my spirit, and come back stronger. Giving up isn’t an option when your passion is what fuels you. And for me, that passion is art—creating it, living it, becoming it.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
People may not realize how much I know, but they do know how much I care. My friends often say that about me, and it means a lot to show the people I love that they can count on me. I genuinely like helping anyone in need, and I believe all my friends see that in me

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
I don’t need applause to give my all. What drives me isn’t praise, but the fire inside—the passion that pushes me to do things with care, with intention, with excellence. I’ve always believed that when we follow what stirs our spirit, life stops feeling like labor and starts feeling like purpose. Even when no one is watching, I aim for quality—not for validation, but because it just feels right. That quiet satisfaction at the end of the day, when I know I gave my best. That’s my real reward.
