Art & Life with Stefano Langone

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stefano Langone.

Stefano, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
From a full-time student of Opera, Jazz, and gospel to being thrown on to the American Idol platform at 21 years old. The highs the lows that followed that shaped who I am today. I survived after the AI bubble popped and I was able to form a community of other incredible upcoming producers writers and artists that would support each other. The grind never stops; I still give vocal lessons and gig constantly. But life is beautiful. I do what I love. And I love what I do. I’m currently on tour being featured by Baby Face. Yeah, legend Baby Face. And I just released a single with three more on the way.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I write, produce, and sing my own music. Creating is a very interesting process, and it’s different every time. And each creation has its own identity. My music is inspired mainly by love. I think of empathy and love as being the bow of my creation, and the arrow that flys is directed to whichever specific emotion, question reflection I have in my mind and heart. You should know that my artwork is honest.

What would you recommend to an artist new to the city, or to art, in terms of meeting and connecting with other artists and creatives?
I don’t think connecting with other artists always helps your loneliness. Being in LA is very lonely. That just comes with the territory. It’s how you use that emotion to drive your ship that matters. You should constantly be going out, finding jams and live shows. You don’t have to spend any money to do this. There is live music EVERYWHERE. There you can meet other people in your community, network and build what you need to be successful.
