We’re looking forward to introducing you to Stacii Floyd. Check out our conversation below.
Stacii, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
In 2018 I created a platform called the Brainstorming Epilepsy Festival that promotes positivity and awareness for people diagnosed with epilepsy.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Stacii Floyd. I advocate for epilepsy and founder of a Festival called Brainstorming Epilepsy Festival. This cause is for the awareness of epilepsy worldwide. To bring to light something that has been overlooked and looked at for many years. This online campaign has given a platform for many epileptic patients to express their feelings about epilepsy. I have had epilepsy from birth and wanted to create a platform that helps spread the awareness and injustice of epilepsy in communities all across the world. I believe that anything is possible when the right eyes are on any subject. To be a humanitarian is one of the greatest gifts of all.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
In 2018 I created a platform called the Brainstorming Epilepsy Festival that promotes positivity and awareness for people diagnosed with epilepsy.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
My suffering taught me how to be resilient in my pursuit of my goals. You will always hear no a lot, but it takes one year to make everything possible. Over and over I had to learn this lesson. Patience is a virtue. All you can do is be prepared for what you want. You don’t control the timing.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version is definitely me. I try not to hide my true self. There’s a lot that I could offer and I love being able to offer it. Being authentic is what makes me special.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think the most misunderstood thing for me would be all of the talents I have in a lot of different fields of business and entertainment. It will be one of the things people will have to look back on and really see.
