We recently had the chance to connect with Eliza Coyne and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning Eliza, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
I always say I’m part Realtor, part therapist, part CEO. People see the showings and the keys….. but behind the scenes I’m negotiating contracts, coordinating timelines, managing personalities, and protecting my clients’ money. My goal is for it to feel seamless on their end.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Eliza Coyne. I’m a Los Angeles native and Realtor with a background in real estate law. I spent over six years working behind the scenes on contracts and transactions before stepping fully into sales, so strategy and protecting my clients is always top of mind for me. I work with first-time buyers, sellers, and investors, and my goal is to make every client feel confident, cared for, and excited about their next chapter.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
For me, the relationship that’s shaped me the most is with myself. Learning to truly love and understand myself has been a game-changer — it’s helped me set boundaries, trust my instincts, and approach life with confidence and calm.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There are definitely moments in real estate when you feel like giving up — it’s such an up-and-down industry, and staying motivated and disciplined can be tough. For me, the key is mindset. I make sure to start my day positively, focus on what I can control, and work out regularly to reset my energy. That combination keeps me moving forward, even on the hard days.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me shows just one side. In real life, I’m goofier, wittier, and have a big personality. The professional side is still me, just a more polished version.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
I’d like to think my clients would miss how genuine and thoughtful I am. I always go out of my way to make sure they fully understand the process and feel completely supported. My goal is for them to know that I’m doing everything I can to make their experience smooth, confident, and stress-free.
