The Karen Michelle brand began 5 years ago and has evolved into a full line of original women’s clothing and gifts that began with the creation of Destiny Candle. The clothing line has sizes from juniors to 3x so we have something for everyone. We have also created an easy to use website with our full line of clothing and candles at affordable prices.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Not always… LOL however, the challenges along the way have reinforced the brand’s desire to meet the challenges and needs of our loyal customers.

We excel in creating relationships with our customers in store and online and manufacturing new, stylish and affordable clothing for juniors and women here in Los Angeles. Additionally, we have a wonderful line of gifts including our original signature line of massage oil Destiny Candles which are all made in America of 100% natural ingredients. We are most proud of the work we do helping young girls and women be proud of their bodies and feel great in what they wear. What sets us apart is our attention to customer service in store and online. Most of all is I personally love people so it in turn makes me love retail
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If we had known that our clothing and candles were going to be so popular we would have chosen a larger location for our first store. Fortunately, we were able to double our size when the storefront next to us became available which has made the shopping experience even better for our customers.
