Meet Cam Kashani of COACCEL: The Human Accelerator in Santa Monica

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cam Kashani.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am known as the “Godmother of Silicon Beach”. I am a highly sought after transformational and mindset Coach, an Expert Speaker with US State Department, 3 time founder, and single mom of twin boys. I’ve worked with 4000+ Entrepreneurs and 700+ startups and I’m on a mission to humanize business. My vision is a global economy that thrives on WE, not ME.

I am on my third company, COACCEL: The Human Accelerator. A unique 3-month powerful and innovative coaching program, that’s 1-1, that focuses on building badasses. We specialize in Women, though are open to Humans.

Previously, I co-founded the first coworking space in Los Angeles for technology startups and entrepreneurs in 2010, Coloft, which was infamously referred to as ground-zero for the LA tech ecosystem. During my four years there, Coloft had over 1800 alumni, including Uber LA, Instacart, Fullscreen, the early Tinder team, and so many more. (This is why they call me the Godmother) 😉

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been a challenging road, and it took a lot of persistence, resilience and courage to get to where I am today. I never gave up, no matter how bleak or dire certain times were.

The most significant struggle was when I went through a very challenging divorce and as a result of the divorce, lost my company at the same time. My prior business partner was my ex-husband, so the divorce was very messy and difficult.

Overnight, I became a single-mom (of one year old twins no less), with no income and no company/job. Everything I had identified myself as, I no longer was — I had a total identity crisis, and felt naked in the Universe. I had to start over at the age of 32, and it was the most difficult time of my life.

This is when I met my current business partner, Jasmine, who was my coach before we started coaching together at COACCEL. She helped build me back up at a super accelerated speed, where I literally went from being in the fetal position, to nine months later, working with the State Department as an Expert Speaker in Kuwait, empowering a nation. It was the most miraculous transformation, and that was when I understood I was in my own way my whole life and I had the “aha moment” of COACCEL. I turned my story of struggle into one of service, and for that I am grateful.

In retrospect I am very grateful for this turbulent time, because it led me down a path of self-awareness and empowerment, and ultimately led to the work I do now. Turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me and I have never been happier.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with COACCEL: The Human Accelerator – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
COACCEL: The Human Accelerator is wholistic optimization of a human. We offer the most innovative and powerful blend of coaching available by incorporating mindset coaching, transformational coaching, intuitive coaching and business coaching all in one customized program. We help our clients optimize themselves and heal any self-limiting patterns that are sabotaging their success while giving them the tools they need to take actionable steps to grow or launch their businesses, make strides in their career, create happier, more fulfilling relationships, and all while helping them achieve a sense of inner peace and self-love.

We work by invitation and referral, but encourage those that are feel called to learning more about how it can impact their lives to reach out so we can explore if there is a fit.

I am really proud of the fact that every single one of our clients has experienced significant transformation.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
There was a time in my life where I planned everything, and the Universe had other plans in store for me. So now, my daily intention is to enjoy the journey, and make the most of everyday, and spending quality time my kids while building my company into the empire that I envision it becoming.

The world is finally at a point where people are realizing that things need to change, and in order for things to change, we need to “be the change” first. So the work that I do, coaching (which falls under self-development), is at a pivotal place. If people take action on following the call to better themselves, I see a really beautiful future with people understanding who they are, why they are here, and how we can collectively elevate one another on a path of building a better world.
