What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?

Coffee? Workouts? Hitting the snooze button 14 times? Everyone has their morning ritual and we LOVE hearing about them. Some of our favorite members of the community share their morning rituals below.

The first 90 minutes of my day are about setting the tone instead of rushing. I usually wake up without immediately checking my phone. I like to take a few quiet minutes to breathe and just be present. Then I make my bed, freshen up, and have warm water or coffee/chai. Read more>>

My day starts at 5:00am, and the first 90 minutes are very intentional and quiet. I begin by reading in bed with coffee — fiction on weekends to spark creativity, and non-fiction on weekdays to ground my thinking. I always start my day with coffee, which I have on a timer so it’s ready when I wake up around 5 or 6 a.m. most mornings. From there, I usually open the Calm app. I do a five-minute meditation, log my sleep, write down three things I’m grateful for, and select my mood for the day. After that, I spend some time reading. My goal when I wake up is to never be in a rush. Relax my way through the morning rituals. This year I have added to speak out loud one thing I am grateful for every day.
