Without getting into specifics (because there are far too many to name) I admire the female philosophers, writers, artists, mothers, revolutionaries, visionaries, and carers that came before me. In difficult times, I remember that women were in an even more difficult position than I am, that they were far less privileged and had far less resources and yet they survived and thrived despite their circumstances.
