Rising Stars: Meet Zia Domic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zia Domic.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I came to LA to be an actor, I was accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and had a few successful years then I had a baby and it became increasingly harder to book work. In desperate need of another creative outlet, I started my fashion blog with no expectations and lucky for me, it took off.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Working in a social media dominated world definitely has its challenges from having to navigate learning new apps, new technology as well as dealing with how competetive the industry is

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Its not as easy as it looks. I do everything From curating outfits to scouting locations, editing, writing, I am also the model, the artistic director, and accountant. I wear many hats doing what I do.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Yes: family is so much more important then anything else and it reinforced my belief to always live each day to the fullest.
