From a young age, I struggled with feelings of insecurity due to a prominent birthmark. It was something that made me feel different, and I often found myself wanting to hide it. My journey with makeup began as a way to cover up what I saw as a flaw. Each brushstroke, each application of foundation, gave me a sense of control and confidence that I had never felt before. Makeup became my shield, my way of presenting a version of myself that felt more beautiful, more accepted.
As I grew older, my perspective began to shift. I started to see my birthmark not as a blemish, but as a unique part of who I am. Makeup transformed from a tool of concealment into one of enhancement. It was no longer about hiding, but about celebrating the beauty that was always there. My birthmark became a symbol of my journey and my growth, a reminder of the strength and confidence I had gained over the years.
With this newfound appreciation for natural beauty, I discovered a passion for helping others feel beautiful in their own skin. I started to enjoy the process of making people look and feel their best for their big moments – weddings, special events, or just a day when they needed a boost. There is something incredibly fulfilling about enhancing someone’s natural features and seeing their confidence shine through.
Makeup has the power to transform, not just appearances, but self-perceptions. It’s a tool that can boost confidence, celebrate individuality, and bring out the beauty that lies within each of us. My journey with makeup has come full circle, from covering up to embracing, and now, helping others feel the same joy and confidence in their own unique beauty.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
However, starting my makeup business was not without its challenges. As a mother of two children, one of whom has autism and requires a lot of attention, balancing my family responsibilities with my professional ambitions was a struggle. Additionally, I often found myself surrounded by people who didn’t take makeup as a serious career. Overcoming these hurdles required determination and resilience, but my passion for makeup and my desire to make others feel beautiful kept me going.

From birthdays to weddings and every special occasion in between, I am known for my flawless makeup looks that make your skin look like glass. My clients trust me to enhance their natural beauty for their most important moments, and I take immense pride in my art. Each application is a testament to my dedication and passion for makeup.
Balancing my roles as a full-time mother and a full-time beauty school student has been no easy feat. Many mothers often have to put their careers on hold once they have children, but I’ve been determined to push forward. With the help of God, my supportive husband Eimaj, and my incredible village of friends and family, I’ve managed to pursue my dreams while being present for my children.
What sets me apart from others is not just my skill but my professionalism and willingness to embrace criticism. I believe that feedback is essential for growth, both as a makeup artist and as a person. Every critique is an opportunity to refine my techniques and enhance my artistry.
Through it all, I remain deeply committed to my craft and to the people who trust me with their most special days. My journey is a blend of hard work, perseverance, and the unwavering support of those around me. My favorite book right now is *You Are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth*. This book has helped me heal my toxic relationship with money and prepare myself for generational wealth.
