Rising Stars: Meet Rocio Vasquez of Los Angeles / OC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rocio Vasquez.

Rocio, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
CASA Renovations INC. is more than a business to us—it’s the dream we built together.

We are Jorge and Rocio Vasquez, high school sweethearts who became teen parents and learned very young what it meant to work hard and provide for our family. Both of our parents immigrated to this country in search of a better future for their families, and their sacrifice and work ethic became the foundation for how we live our lives today.

Jorge began as a flooring installer and worked his way up to becoming a licensed contractor, while Rocio worked for her father’s business before following her passion for design and real estate. After more than 20 years of experience, six years ago we took a leap of faith and opened our own design showroom in Riverside.

Today, CASA has grown into one of the Inland Empire’s go-to kitchen and bath remodeling companies, offering design, material sourcing, and construction all under one roof.

The journey hasn’t been easy, but we’ve never been afraid of hard work. CASA was built on faith, sacrifice, family, and the belief that where you start doesn’t determine where you can go.

For us, CASA represents more than our success—it represents our parents’ sacrifices, our family’s future, and the dream we built together.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road hasn’t always been easy. We’ve experienced the highs and lows of running a business through changes in the economy, uncertainty in the construction industry, and the constant challenge of growing CASA while still being present for our family. We often hear people say, “It must be nice,” but what people see on social media is only a small part of the story. Behind the finished projects and beautiful spaces are long days, sleepless nights, sacrifices, financial risks, difficult decisions, and moments when we’ve looked at each other and wondered if it would be easier to just walk away. Entrepreneurship can test you in ways people don’t always see behind closed doors. But every time we’ve felt like quitting, we’re reminded of how much we truly love what we do, the relationships we’ve built with our clients, and the example we want to leave for our children. So we keep showing up, keep pushing forward, and keep building—not just a business, but the legacy and empire we once dreamed of creating together.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
CASA Renovations INC. is a full-service design-build company specializing in kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home renovations. What sets us apart is that we handle everything under one roof—from in-house design and material sourcing to construction and installation.

We work directly with our trusted vendors to source cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, plumbing fixtures, hardware, and more. Unlike the traditional process of hiring a designer, contractor, and suppliers separately, our clients have one team and one cohesive vision from concept to completion.

We’re most proud of the trust our clients place in us and the reputation we’ve built for quality, integrity, and attention to detail. For us, it’s not just about creating beautiful spaces—it’s about making the entire remodeling experience more personal and seamless.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, we were definitely opposites in many ways, but somehow we’ve always balanced each other. Jorge was the quiet, shy one—tech-savvy, focused, and definitely the more studious one in school. He has always been an artist, naturally creative, and great with his hands and tools. Rocio has always been the go-getter—creative, determined, outgoing, and a giver at heart. She’s always had big ideas and the drive to make them happen. Looking back, those same personalities became the perfect combination for CASA: Jorge brings the craftsmanship and technical side, Rocio brings the vision and creativity, and together we bring it all to life.
