Rising Stars: Meet Quentin Letson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Quentin Letson.

Hi Quentin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory. 
Hi, thank you for this opportunity. 

Hmm, I started acting in 2015 in a play that a friend of mine wrote called “Shade.” it was about how people act towards each other and the things that bond and create separation in friendships… I played a character who was in a relationship with a lady who was torn between me and her ex lol… 

That was the beginning of my acting career… After that, I was hooked so much that I begin to submit for roles as extras just to get on set and learn this new exciting craft. 

In the 1st film I ever did, I was an extra, but the production team liked me enough to cast me in a lead role in which I played a twin brother. my twin brother passed away, and the challenges of living without my twin, it was a fun production… 

After that, I submitted to castings, which I was luckily enough to have secured that had some A-list celebs in them, and the experience and memories will last a lifetime. 

After doing productions that included real-life made-for-TV as well as drama crime series and reality shows, I ventured into short films, which have won awards… 

In 2023, I started my own Production company. QBLENTERPRISIES, that will include Casting, Production, Set Design, and Directing…

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Hi, it hasn’t been bad, but challenging yes, lol, its so many talented Actresses and Actors in this entertainment business that you have to study your craft and bring your A-game all the time, no breaks or get too comfortable thinking each audition is a guarantee!!! Some of the struggles for me have been the location of some of the productions that are hours away from me. A few times, I drove up to 4hrs away and 4 hours back, but to get accepted for a role in a production is worth the drive lol; once on set, it’s a magical feeling that you’re about to be part of something special. 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work in the field of Anesthesia as a Supervisor. To be able to care for the sick, injured, and ill and be part of a healing process that keeps the patient pain-free while having a surgical procedure is my motivation and dedication to patient care. 

Being a dad is the proudest moments for my life!!! 

Winning a Spiral Actor Award and Industry Award is the proudest moment of my life far as entertainment goes. Having family and friends in attendance was a special moment that will last a lifetime!
