Rising Stars: Meet Misha N

Today we’d like to introduce you to Misha N.

Misha N

Hi Misha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Once I graduated high school, I had no real idea what I wanted to do. However, I grew up in poverty on the west side of Chicago, so I was determined to hustle my way to a better life somehow. I was unsure what my passions were so I took a journey down the “Jane of all Trades” path. I spent a few years in Chicago State University, picked up some trades and modeling gigs while I indulged in the adult entertainment industry just to pay my bills. In the midst of finding myself, something in my spirit told me to explore other sides of the country. So, I decided to move to Los Angeles. Los Angeles is where I tapped more into my creative and spiritual side. I was able to go to Massage School and establish my massage practice “LAX Massage Bae”. I was able to discover my gifts and passions through music and storytelling under the Blac Unikorn alias. Being able to understand myself more is an unexplainable feeling. I was in a state of confusion and money chasing for a long time. However, being able to explore different avenues and try new things has helped me embrace the unforeseen events life will bring. I’m not in control; being able to tune into your intuition and take chances in life will help you live more in your purpose. Now that I have more fulfillment in my life through music and my healing practice, I now only want to take it to the next level.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Living in Los Angeles was not a walk in the park. The cost of living is way more expensive than in my hometown. I had to find ways to pick up multiple hustles to pay rent. I also got pregnant in the midst of my transition to LA so now I’m a mom on top of all the things I’m pursuing. Being a mother is a different type of responsibility that must be met. But, I must admit, when you have someone depending on you in that aspect, it brings out another level of hustle in you.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Blac Unikorn formally known as Misha Swain is an Entertainer, Music Artist, and Socialite. Most people are familiar with my entrepreneurial endeavors in the adult industry and massage therapy. However, I am super grateful I was granted the opportunity to create my first album called SHE produced by Philly Swain. This album produced almost over a half a million streams when released in 2018. I have evolved even more since my first album and I want to show more of that side in my music moving forward.
