Hi Kevin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey into the world of séances, hypnosis, and mind reading began more than 30 years ago with a fascination for the mysteries of the human mind and the stories that have captivated people throughout history. I became deeply interested in hypnosis, psychology, mentalism, magic, and the traditions surrounding spiritualist gatherings and Victorian-era séances. What began as a personal curiosity eventually evolved into a lifelong passion and professional career.

Over the years, I dedicated myself to studying not only the mechanics of entertainment, but also why people are drawn to mystery, wonder, and the unexplained. My career allowed me to perform for diverse audiences while continually refining my skills as a hypnotist, mentalist, and interactive entertainer. Through those experiences, I developed a deeper understanding of how to create immersive experiences that engage people’s imagination and create lasting memories.

As my career evolved, I became increasingly interested in creating something beyond a traditional performance. That vision led to the development of Amazing Seance, an immersive theatrical experience inspired by the classic séance traditions of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Rather than simply presenting an audience with a show, I wanted guests to become active participants in the mystery itself. The result is a unique experience that combines atmosphere, storytelling, audience participation, psychology, and entertainment in a way that few people have encountered.

Today, Amazing Seance is presented for private events, corporate gatherings, special occasions, and audiences seeking a memorable and highly interactive experience. What makes it especially rewarding is watching people become fully immersed in the journey as they begin to question what they know, explore new possibilities, and experience a genuine sense of wonder.

After more than three decades in the fields of hypnosis, mentalism, and interactive entertainment, I remain just as fascinated by the power of mystery and imagination as when I first began. That passion continues to inspire me to create experiences that bring people together, spark curiosity, and leave audiences talking about the experience long after the evening has ended.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road, but looking back, many of the challenges became the foundation for what ultimately made Amazing Seance successful.

One of the biggest obstacles was introducing an experience that many people did not fully understand. When people hear the word “séance,” they often arrive with preconceived ideas shaped by movies, television, folklore, or popular culture. Part of my challenge has been creating an experience that is entertaining, immersive, and memorable while helping audiences appreciate the rich history, mystery, and theatrical traditions that inspired it.

Building a career in a highly specialized niche also presents unique challenges. There is no traditional roadmap for becoming a professional séance performer or creating an immersive theatrical experience centered around mystery and audience participation. Much of what I have accomplished came through years of research, experimentation, performance, and continuous refinement. Every event provided valuable insight into storytelling, atmosphere, audience psychology, and what transforms a simple performance into a truly unforgettable experience.

Another challenge has been balancing tradition with innovation. I wanted Amazing Seance to capture the spirit and intrigue of historical séance experiences while remaining engaging, professional, and accessible to modern audiences. Finding that balance required continual development and a willingness to challenge conventional expectations.

Like any entrepreneur and entertainer, I have also faced the realities of building a business, adapting to changing markets, and remaining relevant in an increasingly competitive entertainment landscape. Long-term success requires more than talent. It demands consistency, professionalism, creativity, and an ongoing commitment to excellence.

Perhaps the greatest lesson has been the value of perseverance. There were ideas that did not work as originally envisioned and concepts that required significant refinement before they resonated with audiences. Rather than viewing those moments as failures, I learned to see them as opportunities for growth and improvement. That mindset ultimately helped shape Amazing Seance into the immersive experience it is today.

After more than three decades in the fields of hypnosis, mentalism, and interactive entertainment, I have learned that challenges are rarely roadblocks. More often, they are opportunities to learn, adapt, and build something even better than originally imagined. Many of the obstacles I faced ultimately became some of the most important contributors to my success.

I am a performer, creator, and experiential entertainer who has spent more than three decades studying and presenting the mysteries of the human mind, psychology, hypnosis, mentalism, and séance entertainment. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to creating immersive experiences that allow people to temporarily step outside of everyday life and enter a world of wonder, mystery, imagination, and possibility.

What sets my work apart is that I do not view a séance as simply a performance. I view it as immersive interactive theater. With Amazing Seance, guests become active participants rather than passive spectators. Drawing inspiration from historical spiritualist gatherings, Victorian-era séance traditions, psychology, storytelling, and audience interaction, I have developed an experience that combines mystery, atmosphere, and participation in a way that is both entertaining and memorable.

Throughout my career, I have continuously explored what captures people’s imagination and creates lasting memories. Whether presenting Amazing Seance, a mind-reading experience, a hypnosis performance, or a mentalism show, my goal remains the same: to create meaningful experiences that bring people together through curiosity, wonder, and shared discovery.

What I am most proud of is building a career that has remained successful, relevant, and continually evolving for more than 30 years. The entertainment industry is constantly changing, and maintaining longevity requires a commitment to innovation, professional excellence, and continuous growth. I believe my ability to evolve while remaining true to my passion for mystery and audience engagement has been one of the keys to my success.

Beyond performing, I am passionate about preserving and celebrating the rich history of hypnosis, mentalism, séance traditions, and interactive entertainment. I have always believed that understanding the origins of these arts allows us to better appreciate their impact and continue their evolution for future generations.

At its core, my work is about creating emotional experiences. Long after the details of an event fade, people remember how an experience made them feel. The greatest reward is seeing audiences leave with a sense of wonder, curiosity, and excitement while sharing memories that stay with them for years. What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I like best about Los Angeles is its spirit of creativity and possibility. Few places in the world bring together so many talented people from such diverse backgrounds. Whether it’s entertainment, business, technology, the arts, or entrepreneurship, people come to Los Angeles because they have a vision and want to turn that vision into reality. There is an energy here that encourages innovation, reinvention, and thinking beyond conventional limits.

As a performer and creator, that environment has been incredibly inspiring. Los Angeles embraces unique ideas and unconventional experiences, which has allowed me to develop projects like Amazing Seance and explore creative concepts that might be difficult to introduce elsewhere. Audiences here are open-minded, curious, and willing to experience something different, which makes it a wonderful place for someone working in the entertainment and experiential event industries.

If I had to choose something I like least, it would probably be what most residents would say: the traffic. Sometimes a trip that looks simple on a map can become an adventure of its own. However, that is a small tradeoff for the opportunities, culture, diversity, and creativity the city offers.

Overall, Los Angeles remains one of the most dynamic and influential cities in the world. It is a place where ideas become reality, where creative people can thrive, and where I have been fortunate to build a career doing what I love for more than three decades.
