Rising Stars: Meet Jayme Mason of Venice, CA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jayme Mason

Jayme, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey has been deeply influenced by both my drive for independence and my lifelong dream of becoming a mother. Before I became a stay-at-home mom, I was highly career-focused, dedicated to building a professional life that allowed me to be creative and fulfilled. My ambition pushed me to take on new challenges and continuously grow, both personally and professionally. Yet, even as I pursued this path, I always knew that being a mom was a role I truly wanted to experience. Now, as a stay-at-home mom, I’ve found a way to bring creativity into each day, balancing my independence with the joy and fulfillment that comes from being present with my child.

When the time came to step into motherhood, I fully embraced the role. Being at home with my toddler has been both incredibly rewarding and inspiring. It’s given me the chance to connect on a much deeper level with my creative side, leading me to start ‘Wear Your Story,’ a custom charm necklace line. I now get to pour my creativity into pieces that celebrate life’s special moments and help others tell their stories.

Alongside my business, I started sharing my journey as a stay-at-home mom on TikTok. I wanted to connect with others who were balancing the rewards and realities of parenting with their own personal and professional goals. TikTok has been a powerful platform for me to share these experiences and engage with a community that finds inspiration in my story.

Being at home has brought so much joy and fulfillment, giving me the best of both worlds: the chance to be present for my child’s early years and the opportunity to continue growing my creative business. I look forward to the future, bringing with me the adaptability, creativity, and passion that have been integral to my journey so far.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has definitely had its bumps. Balancing my business, creating content, and being present with my son has been a learning curve. One of my biggest struggles was learning how to stop procrastinating and manage my time effectively. Early on, I often found myself overwhelmed—trying to keep up with business tasks, social media, and still be present with my son. Finding time for myself was also a challenge, and it took over a year to finally get a system down that feels balanced and sustainable.

One lesson that’s been invaluable for me is to let go of perfectionism. With so much to juggle, there are bound to be small mistakes or things that don’t go exactly as planned. Rather than stressing over these, I focus on getting things out there and learning from any missteps along the way. For example, if I post content that isn’t perfect, I use it as a chance to improve next time, rather than holding myself back waiting for it to be flawless.

Learning to work efficiently while keeping my priorities straight has been a huge step forward. Now, I strive to be present with my son during our time together and make sure I carve out some time for myself as well. This process has made me more patient, adaptable, and willing to see mistakes as part of the growth. It’s been a journey, but the rewards of being more engaged with my family and my work have been well worth it.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work is all about sharing my journey as a stay-at-home mom, celebrating the meaningful, real-life moments that come with it. Being home with my toddler is something I’m incredibly proud of, and I love being able to show the authentic, everyday moments online. On TikTok, I post about the joys and challenges of mom life—the ups and downs, the small victories, and the moments that don’t go as planned. I also share little things I do for myself, like putting on a cute outfit or fitting in a workout, as a way of staying connected to my identity outside of motherhood.

By being open about my own experiences, I hope to inspire other parents to carve out a space for themselves, even amidst the demands of raising a family. I want to capture what life is truly like and connect with others on a similar path, helping them feel seen and reminding them they’re not alone in this journey.

Recently, I’ve been more open about my journey with secondary infertility. It’s a topic that isn’t always easy to talk about, but I believe that sharing it can help others feel seen and understood. This vulnerability has brought me closer to a community of people going through similar experiences, and it’s given me a new perspective on strength and resilience as a parent.

Through all of this, I’m also the creator of ‘Wear Your Story,’ a jewelry line where I design charm necklaces that capture personal stories and moments that matter. It’s been incredibly rewarding to create pieces that celebrate life’s journey—not just for me, but for others, too. Being a stay-at-home mom, sharing my real experiences, and building a business that’s meaningful has been the most fulfilling part of my life so far. I’m grateful for the chance to connect with people through each of these aspects, showing that there’s beauty in every chapter of our story.

How do you define success?
For me, success is about finding fulfillment and purpose in the life I’m creating for myself and my family. It’s not just about achieving a specific goal or milestone, but about living in a way that feels authentic and meaningful. As a stay-at-home mom, success means being present with my child, creating real connections, and finding joy in the everyday moments that matter.

Success is also about growth—continuing to learn, adapt, and improve, whether it’s in my role as a parent, in building my business, or in sharing my journey on social media. It’s about staying true to myself, showing up with honesty, and helping others feel seen and supported in their own journeys. At the end of the day, if I’m able to make a positive impact, celebrate life’s meaningful moments, and feel balanced in my personal and family life, that to me is true success.
